Film out is incredible ! Honestly every song that JK wrote are amazing 💜 He writes only a few but man every time he does, he absolutely crushes it 🤩 And everyone's performances were so good for Film out, a masterclass 💜

JK's singing voice is so different from his talking one. He has a deeper voice when he talks than he does as he sings.

Butter was exactly what the world and BTS needed at the time it was released. And it's just a fun song. The Hotter remix video is hilarious. You have to watch it again, and really focus on the background - there are so many shenanigans happening. And there is only one jacket with shoulder pads. It's Hobi's but they share it around throughout the video. 🧈💜

That's the thing with the Hotter Remix, you REALLY need to concentrate on what's happening in the background (how Jimin was still in one piece after it, I have no idea). And Hobi's jacket does do the rounds of the guys. It's so funny to watch, they're just complete, adorable idiots.💜

Film Out was written by Jungkook & a Japanese artist. It was for a Japanese movie about time travel called Signal. It doesn’t have anything to do with military enlistment. As I’ve said before the songs written by JK always seem like each members parts were written just for them. They always really showcase their vocal strengths.

I totally agree! Film out is an underrated gem. Another masterpiece by JK Butter is what got my 80 year old mom into BTS 😅 I freaked out over JK’s purple hair 💜

I like the part of jin in butter when he is holding the board w/ numbers, he's so freaking handsome matching with amazing voice, ,, but of course i love bts as a whole.

I just love the live versions of BTS ‘Film Out’, they all are beyond amazing all members vocal abilities shine, and are just on another level. My fav performance is the Music Blood performance though each are sheer perfection! Hearing it live you can feel the emotion, and sincerity in their vocals that much more, not to mention yet another more iconic high notes of Jimin’s that are now shown in high note compilations, though his older iconic, ever so legendary ones can never be replaced. But also just love the quality of his vocal tone at end of song, filled with such warmth, emotion, & sincerity. But honestly all members growth as vocalists, just when one believes how can they get better, they always never cease to amaze! 🙏❤️‍🔥🙌😍

Jin being separated in Film Out, the shattering glass, the freezing of certain members and the hourglass are all from the BU. hint hint 😘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🫰🏻 You need to rewatch the Butter remix background from the beginning. Iconic😂

Film out is my favorite. I doubt they were thinking abut enlistment, when filiming it. At the time it was still be suggested that BTS may not need to enlist. I think Jin is outside because this is part of the BU where he time travels, I could be wrong.

I agree that Butter is more "pop-ie" and still amazing. For me, I always put it into context with what the Worl was going through at the time - and how BTS was determined to make us smile and be hopeful at such a dark time. I love them so much! Yes. During the butter hotter remix, I can see jimin falling out of the chair in the background. It's so funny. He can be clumsy sometimes, and he tend to fall a lot of times, but it's still cute tho.

Agree 100% on film out. Absolutely love this song and totally underrated. You need to watch the hotter remix of butter again. You missed all the stuff in the background. Jimin falling out of his chair, JK breakdancing, the rest acting totally goofy. You will see something new every time you watch it. Still in Korea btw and having the absolute time of my life. The Festa was nuts!

Film Out makes me ugly cry in a fetal position on the floor. In a good way, of course! Edit: I don't have confirmation but there are sources that say Film Out's video is part of the BU. In previous videos, it was established that Tae knows what is going on with Jin being a time traveler and JK is becoming clued in (the hourglass). With Suga and J-Hope, they're representing the mirrors that keep being referenced. And then there are the multiple doors that Jin sees may be referencing the multiple timelines he's had to create in order to save the rest.

Well to be more exact i started watching interviews of them ironically around the time Mic drop came out lmao (because I was in a phase of watching celebrity interviews even if I didn't know the celebrities). But for some reason I didn't get into them right there and then. Then a couple years later a reactor I highly respected reacted to mic drop which made me curious. First I watched reactions of only that song then others and then some on my own and the rest us history😅😁✌🏾💜

BTS are the best! Jimin and Jin with their high notes in Film Out is iconic! And V and Jimin harmonizing together is always magical! I love that song so much!!’

So much chaotic, hilarious things are going on in the background with all the members nonstop. Lol!! With this one, it's an absolute must to continually go back & repeat so you don't miss anything. Just so much going on. Also I love how RM even sang, Hotter, Sweeter, Cooler, Butter! As a ‘subtle hint to the next remix version ‘cooler’ butter.

John, I have really loved this year by year look back at the BTS catalogue. It certainly highlights the insane level of work and commitment these guys have put in over the years. I just wanted to add a little clarity on the Dynamite/Butter/Permission to Dance era. I apologise for it getting so long. Butter is definitely more pop-ie. I think what makes ARMY feel like it is not true BTS is the fact that they had no hand (except RM and the rap) in the writing or production of it. The rap needed changes and so they did what they always do - Suga, RM & J-Hope all wrote lyrics and submitted them and RM was the winner! The song itself, was written by Jenna Andrews, Alex Bilowitz, Sebastian Garcia, Robert Grimaldi, Stephen Kirk and Ron Perry, with production handled by the last three. Dynamite (written by David Stewart and Jessica Agombar and produced by Stewart) & Permission To Dance (written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid, Steve Mac and Jenna Andrews, with production being handled by Mac and Andrews and Stephen Kirk). All of these songs are great fun songs but none of them have the depth of lyric that most other BTS songs have. That's why I feel they are different and should be viewed differently from the ret of their discography. Not enough reactors make this clear in their reactions.

ARMY was a little panicked when we first heard a “Hotter” version of Butter was coming out and then it just turned out to be their chaotic selves in the video with a cool remix 😂 Go back and rewatch just the background. Early on when Tae is singing, Jimin falls out of a chair and Tae turns around almost like he felt something tug on him 😆 Everyone is sharing Hobi’s jacket with the crazy shoulder pads. If you look at JK when they’re all in a line (just before Jin does the angry singing part) JK is trying not to laugh 🤭 so many funny things in the background on that one!!!😂😂😂 Oh, and I totally agree with you about Film Out. It is so beautiful and so underrated. Love this song.💜

The hotter remix is also known amongst Army's as the crack remix lol. I think you should watch it again really paying attention to all they do -especially what they're doing in the background. They're all just nuts from start to finish 😂 It's like they just had to do a remix showing their craziness that we all know and love and make sure the new Army coming in saw it too. The first BTS song I ever heard was Permission to Dance but the first one I ever LOVED that got me hooked was Butter. While it is very poppy and not like most of their other music - like you said often it's songs like this that make a band explode- then if you like what yo hear you go back and listen to all their other music. It is definitely so true that you find BTS when you need them most- I used to listen to Butter every day and it cheered me up and always made me smile. 🥰💜 Also - Suga's dance is iconic 😂
