Exactly! That is my reason for being a fan of his. I am proud to call myself a dear!!! Every song that he sings I feel so deeply; whether it is in English or not! He always takes me on a spell-bound journey! I never even listened to much opera or rap for that matter until Dimash and then Hua Hua came into my life! The world has been a better place for me since. I need to listen to these two on a daily basis and then I feel refreshed! This is such a masterpiece of his. He really feels so strongly about the horrors of war and, you're right, he is screaming his pain at the insanity of this worlds leaders who put so much rubbish ahead of lives. So much misery and suffering because of their greed and egos. It is insanity! Dimash put his heart and soul into this incredibly powerful call for peace and it should be an anthem throughout the world. ♥💔♥

To me, that ending passage (“We’re choosing life”) was truly his soul crying out in frustration that wars are SENSELESS! STOP IT! WAKE UP, PEOPLE!! No question that Dimash gives his all! Voice, body, heart and soul!

When my mom was in her last months of life she was soffered too much pains and Dimash had the power to calm her down. I agree with you about his Art and his efforts to arrive in this level. But if you allow me to go further, I'll tell you that humanity is living a very dangerous moment and I have the conviction that it is time to stop to BELIEVE. It's now urgent to THINK. And over that, I am sure that there is spirituality in art, but no God at all. The way Dimash is treated by his fans is a kind of idolatry, condamned by most of the religions of one god (monotheism).

Not just screaming in anguish, but doing so using the prayer styles of many different religions. Beautiful way to portray that we are all under one Sky. 💗💗💗💗🌸

He doesn't hide his feelings, he shares it because he knows alot of people out there feels the same but can't express it, he does that on behalf of them and himself. Hi John, I saw Dimash live in Malaysia two months ago. This song really made me cry uncontrollably. I think it’s the vibration of his voice and emotion affects you physically. The concert was a week after his grandfather passed away, I’m sure it was difficult for him emotionally. Perhaps it made the performance extra powerful.

His previous dancer groul, his stage producer and many of the back-stage people were Ukrainian. That is why, just before the concert in Dubai they had to get new dancers. And also why he was so upset during that concert in particular. I know a bit about what happened off-stage at the time, and he was in a bad emotional state.

I wrote this 4 weeks ago, probably when I dicovered Dimash, and I don't take off a single word. But I also discovered the Dears. So, to-day I add this : "...a total Dear down to the bone" NO. Dimash is a human. I'll never prostrate in front of a human being. Even a genius. Just the conscience of self respect and measure. But everyone else has the right to do it.

Thank you for your emotional reaction to an amazing song and performance. The Story of One Sky video is the greatest musical video that I have ever seen. I couldn't wait to see Dimash's live performance of the song, and he delivered way beyond my expectation. I have watched that performance numerous times, and like you it brings me to tears every single time. Dimash is an ambassador for world peace, and sincerely loves his "Dears" from all over the world and they love him back. He loves Igor Krutoy and has performed in Russia many times. He must be going through a very difficult time considering the Russian/Ukraine conflict.

The vocalisation to me is Dimash”s expression on how different faiths and religions are praying to their god. I can hear muslims way of praying, christianity, buddhism and so on. It is so amazing, takes away my breath every single time ❤

The cries of anguish seem to reflect the differences between cultures while highlighting the similarities. Whether in a musical lament or some other way, every culture mourns (even by celebrating a life, we mourn the loss of life). Dimash leaves nothing to chance or happenstance. That last part is a desperate angry cry asking for no more war…so powerful!!! and definitely coming from his heart! Love him not only for his talent but also for what he represents. I feel like this song is a form of art and like great masterpieces of art it promotes a dialogue, sometimes a door needs to be opened to allow a conversation of a difficult subject that needs to be discussed talked about. To me, Dimash was praying and crying on behalf of the whole world, which would explain why he was singing in different styles, to reflect different cultures. It was a cry for peace.
