Arson is the last track on the album, and More is the third. Ahhh I’m so proud that Hobi can show us these parts of himself that he kept hidden. I’m glad he was so open and gave us these amazing songs! I just can’t wait for Hobipalooza 💜

@@JohnReavesLive I believe the question is answered throughout his album. I think the fact that More and Arson are seperated in the order of the album is because Jhope addresses many different things in his other tracks (like Equal Sign for example, teaches people not to discriminate and that love is love). In Arson’s case, Jhope speaks on his success and passion that burn like a fire, hence the name Arson. In More he states, “My work makes me breathe, so I want some more.” He knows how hard he worked to get his music out in the world but isn’t afraid to let that fire (his passion) burn a little brighter. That’s just my interpretation and it’s probably way off but that’s going off based on what I know. I’m always learning new and new things. I wonder what your interpretation will be during the full album review

HOBI did a phenomenal job on this album. It is a whole mood. He really lays himself bare for all of us. I admire him so much. He himself said that he wants to target the audience that does not know him because he really wants the feed back to grow as an artist. That’s why he choose Lollapalooza to debut. My thoughts are not enough people give him the attention and credit he deserves. To do what he is doing, even willing to see and hear negative feedback just shows how extremely real HOBI is.

I don’t think the other members were involved in the making of this album. Jhope said that the first who heard it was RM and he gave him some feedback. Jhope then wanted Suga to listen to it but Suga told him he would wait until he debuted the album. Suga didn’t want to influence the process. And finally he played it for Jungkook who loved it too. But the other members didn’t listen to it until it was released. Jhope is meticulous in his work and had a hand in everything from writing the songs, to creating the concept, costumes, set designs, etc. The hard work he’s put in is reflected in the quality of this album. I can’t wait to see him perform this Sunday at what we affectionately call Hobipalooza 🔥💜

It's my personal opinion, but I think e answered the question with the last scene in the MV before he fell backward. He asked if he should put out the fire or burn brighter and the fire was still burning inside him in that last scene. His insides were burned and blacked, especially his heart, but the fire was still burning.

For a start John, the 94 sign relates to 1994, the year Hobi (and Namjoon) was born.💜 And I agree, everytime I see them touching up the makeup in his EAR, I cringe. Inside my ears are so sensitive, even watching that I can feel it.💜 Also, to answer your question, yes you were nodding your head to the beat the whole time. That's the power of a great, powerful, yet subtle beat. It moves your body, without you even realizing. It's just a shame they didn't bring Jack In The Box On CD, then even more ARMY could enjoy it💜 I agree about the F-bomb, and it's not something we hear from Hobi usually. That's one of the things I like about Yoongi's rapping, he doesn't really swear that often, and when he does, it's to emphasize a point. It means something, not just to fill in space - because you couldn't write the song better. Namjoon is a little freer with the expletives in one or two songs; but he's such a wordsmith, that you KNOW there is a purpose for their presence.💜🎼 Just think of what their new songs will be like when they start writing as a group once more. With each of them learning and experiencing so much. Branching out. It's going to be amazing 💜

Glad you are curious what the answer is. Burn brighter or put out the fire? (he will burn brighter for sure though). This question and song was the perfect ending to this very personal album. The whole album is like a book and you will have to listen to it in order when breaking it down. From the very first track "Intro" you'll already know that this album is a well thought out story. He has said himself that this album was not made to have those "hit-songs". He could do that (his word, and we all know for a fact because he's done it with BTS) but he wanted something else. He wanted to share very personal thoughts and showing himself as an artist. Making art rather than making hits (I would argue that these songs are hits though).

As others mentioned, this is the last track of the album. And since the album tells a story in a chronological sense, the question that he asks whether to put out the fire or keep on burning - seems to be a question he's asking himself. Given that he doesn't plan on stopping making music, I think it's more a question of which direction he is going in this new Chapter. MORE gave us a glimpse of his "thoughtless ambition"and Arson seems to be a point of reflection - which is needed for him to grow as a person and as an artist. 💜💜

Since Arson is the last track on the album, I think he's leaving the question open as to where to go from here. It could also imply a self-doubt of whether he'll succeed going forward. At the same time the repetition of "done" in the lyrics sounds like he's checking off a list in a manner of "so what do I do next?" kind of way. Easter egg theories: - Highway sign that says 4US Done: Aim for the US + checked off - 94-sign: J-Hope's year of birth - Knocked down red/white guardrail is similar to his iconic scene in Run BTS zombie episode (symbol of Run BTS or BTS?) - A scooter appears several times: Used to borrow Suga's scooter (symbol of the rap line?), the mobile game "BTS J-Hope Scooter Racing", Scooter Braun (= Ithaca): Big Hit bought Ithaca and formed Hybe - The burning box (MORE checked off?) Oh, and Gorillaz' Clint Eastwood is a freakin masterpiece! 🤘😎🤘

Burn brighter for sure! Hoping they are all able to let go of some baggage or unexpressed creativity in this period. How do you feel about Coldplay? They did a song in the pandemic with BTS and it lends itself well to your recent structure as there is a “Making of “the song film, where Chris Martin somehow manages to get into South Korea to record the song with them. There’s also a separate “Making of “ the MV. 👌. The only live performance I know of was the AMAs but the microphone levels were really not great. However, fun to see them together.

In my opinion, he does answer it both in the song and the MV. The song doesn't end on the question, but on "Arson". He's setting fire again. Same in the MV. While the first verse is flames and the second is the aftermath, in the end he is amongst flames again. But that's just my interpretation 😅💜

To my understanding are "More" and "Arson" about his future carreer, but "More" is more from the perspective of being motivated and driven, while "Arson" is about the perspective of being anxious and unsure. In my honest opinion, I think at times Hobi may be frightened, or weary of the fire he set off both inside and outside of himself, but at the same time I think that fire inside is a huge part of who he is as a artist. It's his passion, burning inside. He may have not realized it and it may have taken time to fully become the burning inside that we see today. But all the same I just get this feeling that the flame inside is also a very important part of his drive, his ambition, simply put....his love for music , performing, etc... And I'm not sure 100%,but I think towards the end of this journey he has been living, he has possibly come to realize the deeper meanings of what that flame might actually be, as in how it is apart of him and apart of his artistry. That even though this burning with in himself may come with some down sides, that it is a vital part of who he is, his love for what he's done and is still doing , not to mention a driving force also helping him reach out and fulfill his wants and desires. Helping to propel him forward to try new things and explore certain things or ideas that he may have only thought about before now. Honestly I think he may only be getting started, which is amazing in so many ways, and I completely welcome it all with high anticipation! Infact I very much feel like his release of "Jack In the Box," etc...., has already caused that burning flame inside him to burn much hotter and most definitely much brighter!!!💜🔥💜

i hope you are right because what he said in the interview about it was for army to figure out if he was done burning. he would not have asked that if he was done i feel like. because BTS promised they would return. and he didn´t want to say to army. i am burned out and want to quit. but there is also stuff non of the members ain´t able to sing about and that is a shame. J-hope might want to find love and he might also be scared not knowing how to do it. even celebs are fans of BTS so how will he find someone. and at the party they were all shy to step out and talk to people. how can he just meet someone who is honest and not in aww of him. i know all of BTS members is lonely in that apartment and it´s a shame they can´t express that through music. they can sing about it but not in an honest way like he did in this album. i still hope they want to sing about it. maybe RM will. V i think is dating jennie and i think he had girlfriends before because he is not shy and can easily talk to people. i wish all of them could experience love i want that for them. i think Jin might feel to old to do music anymore and want a wife to settle down with. that´s how i feel but i might be wrong.

@@lealarsen2017 Well I see some of what your saying, and you might be right in certain ways, but I just watched a video where I think Hobi is possiblity hinting at something he may already have an idea about doing in the future. I'm guessing he means as a next album, but not altogether sure exactly. But I think it does make it seem like he may already have plans for things to do after this album though. All I know is if thats what he wants, than I'm definitely all for it and will be waiting filled with tons of excited anticipation. Time will tell, but for now I'm loving his current album, and I am just so proud of the oh so many amazing things he is doing in his musical career right now. Actually, just in his career over all as a whole, really. But for now I will leave you a link under this comment to the video, it was extra content from a short interview with, what I understand to be another singer, named Zico. In fact I can leave links to the actual interview, and also to the second video having to do with the extra content. I think, it was actually extra bonus content, that had to do with the interview he had with Zico, that was recently just released. In the bonus video, Hobi says that that was the first time that he's ever really talked about it. Publically is what I'm assuming he meant. But who knows, maybe he means first time to talk about it ever. Can't really know that one though, not that specifically, but I do know I'm even more excited to see where he goies musically now, after hearing what he mentioned. Kinda just really curious as well now.

It is actually a bonus clip from the original interview, which I I saw was officially called "Give Me A Minute," and it was with the singer named Zico, like Iemtioned earlier. Just the fact that he released an album, just the fact that he did the music video, shows that he has embraced his passion and is burning brighter. The picture at the end of him burning, shows that he's burning brighter. J-Hope has an interview about the album, and it answers your questions. RM is not credited on any of the songs on his album. Hi, I’m a Karmy and I like your reactions. But can you react mv first and then lyric video and then making videos. Bts and Kpop artists always have orders. They put sooooooo much work, energy and money to make mv and want fans to find out or guess the meaning behind first. I hope you to react mv without any informations what Kpop arthritis wants.
