FYI...that JHope stumble was literally after he was in a 2 week quarantine recovering from covid and flying into Vegas with less than 48 hours to practice that performance while still recovering. It's amazing that he was even still able to perform. So much respect!!

Also remember they were not sure if JK would be there until that day. He was quarantined to his hotel room for a week. He was just released that morning.

all the gods, the universe and everything was on their side fr fr because a few of them 1/3 had covid, Jin injured his finger so he wore a cast, the previous months Jimin had appendix surgery like everything was against them performing at the Grammys but they all did it at the end. Practiced just once as a group where they had more failes with the jacket trick than success but they pulled it off flawlessly at the show itself. had one of the best performances of the night, got a standing ovation and just gave everyone a SHOW with a storyline and gave everyone a glimpse of why they r the best of the best

Bangtannies said that they were practicing for errors, too. If their mics fell off, they are going to dance according to their muscle memory. That happened so many times and they are used to it. I am so proud of them.

The DNA "mess up" with Jin was not even his fault. Jimin, Hobi and V were doing a punishment and had to dance it on 2x speed. The other guys just came out and did it with them and once all 7 were in place the performance was flawless.

As a jin bias i noticed that,,,everyone knows that jin is a slow learner and make a lots of mistake in back stage. But u will barely see him making mistakes on stage.😊

I love that when they play games on Run BTS that have to do with remembering choreography out of context he often wins by a mile. He has to work harder to learn it, and I think that helps him recognize it later. It's really easy to be proud of Jin 💜

Yes, he barely makes mistakes and always remembers all the choreography. Maybe it's because he needs to learn and practice more than the other members.🫶

Jimin sitting in air during Dionysus is very Jimin of him. I watched this performance at least 10 times and didn’t notice it before this video 😮

even at regular speed doesn't seem like he would have been without the chair for too long, so thats much better than what xould have happened. I have hewrd others say it like he was dancing for quite a while, while also having to sit in thw air. Truly doesn't seem that long. But that is also a good thing. The recovery time getting the chair to him is nice. And it wasn't horribly noticable. Not to mention even for just some seconds, Jimin made it look like nothing was wrong! Nice Jimin!!💜

​@@sinevinsyeah it's not long, and his thighs are absolutely up to the challenge even after dancing. The danger is really that he could have trusted the chair to be there and fallen. He's so quick and perceptive. Also those thighs 🤣 he's good at sitting on air

@@evantesseract737 True, very true! Don't know how he caught that, or caught himself from falling of he hadn't originally noticed that the chair wasn't there. But it was awesome, he did a fantastic job💜💜💜

That recovery by Hobi in Blood Sweat & Tears with his in ear pack is one of the smoothest recovery's I have ever probably seen! Like dang!!💜

They are so demanding and perfectionists with their own performances... of course nobody is perfect 😊

And so many more! They laugh and go on!! JK during PTD. Jimin’s many falls. RM in the wrong positions. So fun!

The guys are so much fun to watch whether they mess up or not. They are so close in brotherhood, that they can laugh at each other and themselves. They always watch each performance sometime after the performance. This was so funny, but your reactions were priceless, John!😂

I really felt bad for JHope when he stumbled. It was Live on the Grammy’s

Jhope actually said in a vlive, that the step thing was not there during rehearsal this is when he tripped the first time.

But he was able to catch himaelf pretty well, that is extremely impessive! Very Proud of him, especially knowing what he had been through right before this performance!

12:07 He didn’t roll his ankle. Jin pushed him playfully and V was being theatrical. He got him back in another performance. They kept doing different things for that part in the DNA performance. 13:44 Wardrobe malfunction - something flew off JK’s outfit.

Enjoyed your commentary on what happens behind the scenes, John. 😊 I can't imagine being on such a huge stage, then something goes wrong. 😅

The thing is that J Hope almost never makes mistakes and the one time he did, it was the Grammy performance so he was really upset.

And it was at the very top of the performance. No one noticed, but I really feel for him. That performance should not have come together as well as it did, really, so I think it's amazing that nothing more went wrong

there's like a .05 delay. A loss =mental breakdown.

Yeah, every time I learn after the fact that someone's in-ear malfunctioned... I mean, if they screwed up I get it and if they didn't I'm in awe.

I miss the one from an award on concert where something fell (pack probably again), and they passed it over 3 members to the right one, and they did it so smoothly, I was only able to catch it in slowmotion

I didn't see it in this one but i really love the JK jacket wardrobe malfunction when he tries very, very hard to sneakily fix it before ultimately giving up He laughed about it later 😂

Mistakes happen. But it can be funny to watch. There is an old clip where Namjoon literaly bulldozed Yoongi to the side to get to his position. Poor Yongi had _ I believe - just delivered his own verse when that happened. Unstoppable force meets (light) object. Poor little Meow Moew! Thank you!
