Oh, so I wasn't the only one that noticed that! xD

Plot: Eggman realised making a robot that looks like Sonic was a mistake, so he wants to scrap Metal Sonic to make a different robot to destroy Sonic. However, Metal Sonic is having none of that, so he betrays Eggman to stop him from destroying him.

This is basically Sonic 2 but every boss (except Flying Eggman) is replaced by a robot. *Edit:* Oh wait, it IS a Sonic 2 hack!

Who knew that eggman was a gundam fan?

I love the boss music..

I find the way Metal Sonic Rebooted used Sonic 2's bosses interesting. The game never changed the behavior of the bosses. They just changed the textures of the bosses and the layout of the arena.

It's actually kurama's theme from yu yu hakusho sunset fighters .

Would had been better if the bosses were harder and more aggressives instead of simply being reskin rehash of Sonic2 Like the Aquatic Ruins boss could had activated more arrows, the Casino Night one could had either electrified some blocks or made them levitate, the Oil Ocean one would had attacked with TWO tentacles, some could had been in double, etc.

JOHN PHILLIP TECSON well, you see, he over heats himself in order to do this. He basically melts himself down if he goes past the 200 ring timer, which goes down pretty fast. You either better speed run the level, be near a container of water, or near the end of the level. If you’re at a boss, you better hurry it up.

I'm sure they tried their best and they were just having fun but damn some of these are just bosses from Sonic 2 with like different graphics. I liked the ones that tried a bit of spin on it, though.
