@@TheChampOfMedium the first ever Kpop Idol Band is FT Island (they are still going strong!), CNBLUE, Day6, N.Flying, The East Light, Honeyst, AOA Black, The Rose... These are the ones I immediately have to think about... There are also K-Rock Bands that are GREAT! Like South Club, Bursters, Nell, Inlayer, Hyukoh, ROYAL pirates, Buzz, Dick Punks... I just love Korean Rock in any Capacity!

I recommend the band The Rose after this. The fandoms of those two groups often overlap and the members are friends. The lead singer of The Rose woosung has an insane voice.

In Sweet Chaos the guy who sang the high head voice part actually wasn't the same guy as in Shoot Me -- the first time it was Young K, the bassist. The second time was one of the guitarists, Jae, who also did the guitar riff at the end of Shoot Me. The other guitarist is Sungjin, the keyboardist is named Wonpil, and the drummer is the youngest member, Dowoon. Dowoon doesn't sing that much, but he's learning how to sing and has some parts in other songs. Day6 really treasure experimenting with different types of genres as well as just...doing what they want. Young K is known one of their main lyricists, but they all work together on both lyrics and composition. They each contribute to pieces and you can tell they all really love music. Thanks for checking out Day6 and I'm so glad you ended up liking them!

Another band that you may like is FT Island. They are Korean but also perform in Japanese a lot because their type of music is more popular in Japan than Korea. Haha, as I typed Mirvale was already recommending them in the comments. !

FT Island is not having a drama, the previous member because he already left the band is going to jail because of what started as the Burning Sun Scandal, things how they are, but that was him and not the other members, even HongKi disconnected from him, there are other 4 people not involved in that case

So, the title track you listened to, Sweet Chaos, is off their new album Entropy, and the whole album is really diverse and a good kind of weird. I recommend you try listening to it as a whole, because it flows so well and it’s a surprise in every song, especially when you listen the first time. I know you do reactions and many fans want to see them separately, but it is such a delight listening to it as a whole. Don’t feel too much pressure and do as you feel and enjoy. Anyong 💜

Day6- i need somebody

basically, day6 currently has 5 members: sungjin, jae, young k/brian, wonpil and dowoon. jae is the guitarist who was on the far left in sweet chaos. sungjin is the other guitarist next to him with the raspy voice. brian is the bassist and wonpil is the keyboardist with the nasally voice. all of them sing apart from the drummer (dowoon) who is currently taking singing lessons (you hear him sing a bit in beautiful feeling). jae is the oldest, however sungjin is the leader and dowoon is the youngest.

Day6 is super underrated in my opinion. I also really appreciate the simplistic music videos. I love the crazy visuals in a lot of KPop videos but it's nice to have something simple like this too. During 2017 they did something they called "Every Day6" where they released two new songs and a new music video (and song of course) each month for the entire year. I can't imagine how much they had to work to do that but it definitely paid off as that was when I became a big fan. I can't wait to see you react to more of them :)

Day6 are so great, they have such a big and diverse discography! If you want to react to another "old school" kind of song from them, then you should check out Days gone by. But I'd also suggest you to check their Every Day6 project, from 2017, where they released two songs every month and they all sound very different to each other.

DAY6 always does unexpected things in their music and I love it! And they have such a diverse discography. I definitely would recommend "Rescue Me". I think you would really like it. The electric guitar goes pretty hard, and it has a classic rock feel to it. It even has the cowbell during some verses which is pretty sick.

Thank you for this reaction, I really enjoyed it! I think you'd like Stray Kids "Awaken" as well, they tried out a new sound that is very reminiscent of metal, while adding in their own style, and it's just a great song! Also, happy late Thanksgiving if you celebrate! 💜

Definitely check out The Rose 'Baby' and maybe even throw in 'Red' for a different vibe. They are one of my favorite korean bands and one of their vocalists has such a unique tone. You'll enjoy it. Hyukoh is a great indie band that has some awesome songs. Also if you want to go in the rap featuring singer songerwriters path, check out Epik High. You will never be dissapointed. They have one of the best discographies ive ever come across. I can listen to them all day. They've experimented a lot in their career. One of my favorite tracks is 'Dont Hate Me' and its very pop punkish. Anways. Keep on with the great videos :)

Their songs “Rescue me” and “I Need Somebody” are their more rock/stronger songs and I HIGHLY recommend them. I was actually a big metal head before getting into kpop so when I found Day6, was so happy to see a band in the scene and have since found a few amazing k bands from them.

Nice! I love Day6, and its nice seeing some one give their opinion who actually knows about instruments! I know you said you did some research but heres a quick rundown of members anyway lol: Sungjin: Rhythm Guitar, Main Vocalist, Leader (he's the one with the good head voice that you commented on in Shoot Me, and had the raspy voice in Sweet Chaos) Jae: Lead Guitar, Lead Vocalist (you mixed him up a bit with Sungjin in Sweet Chaos, "is this the same guy that did the head voice in the last one?" no that was Sungjin in the last one and Jae in this one lol "cause he's crushing that" yes yes he is lol) Young K: Bass, Lead Vocalist, Main Rapper Wonpil: Keyboard, Synthesizer, Lead Vocalist Dowoon: Drummer, Maknae (he doesnt really sing much, but he has gotten a couple lines here and there)

Day6 have so many great songs. In fact, they only have either good or great songs. No bad or mediocre ones to be found here. I highly recommend reacting to "Days Gone By" and some of their earlier work such as "Letting Go" and "Congratulations".

I recommend Rescue Me from the latest Day6 album. Parts of the beginning remind me of Tool (the guitar, chords, and slightly muted vocals maybe?). Also Stop Talking, same album. No MVs, but there are lyric videos available. That whole album is a weird mix of 80s, 90s, grunge, and a little bit of funk. It’s a full ride.

Also if you want to listen to more kpop bands: The Rose 'Baby' & 'Sorry'(but i think all their songs are good) and N.Flying 'Hot potato' & 'Rooftop' Thesse are just MY kpop band suggestions, everyone likes different things ✌😊

Oh if you want to explore bands, good sir, there are some fantastic groups. Day 6 of course, and someone mentioned The Rose and the classic FT Island. You could also check out Bursters, who are a lot harder and more intense than most (try their song Barriers), or N.Flying, who have a '90s pop-punk vibe (and also do great live and busking performances...I prefer a lot of their b-sides, some of which have great basslines, even though they're officially bassist-less at the moment). Also check out Onewe, who were formerly M.A.S. Have fun on the band side! (Can't wait till you get into the rappers and K-hiphop *crosses fingers*)

My fav song is sweet chaos by far, those chords are so unique and all those unexpected melodies make it such a good song

Based on what type of music you like, I highly recommend reacting to “Eden” and “Final kiss” by IZ. They’re a really underrated k-band so I doubt anyone will request them, but I really think you’re gonna like them, especially their song “Eden”!

Shoot me was my first song & I only knew it (with 2 other songs) when I went to their concert this year in january (we will go again next year january with high touch😭😍) & you can sing to this songs so well! In 2017 Day6 released an mv every month, along with a bside and accompanied with a concert. One of my faves is a bside song I Need Somebody - I love the way the music, guitar especially builds, builds through the song. If you react to it, BE CAREFUL. I recommend the vid by TamTam Lyrics. The other...it's words that don't really mean anything. I Wait is also really good, although it starts with Jae in a throwback outfit to Backstreet Boys in the late 90s, but then there's Young K looking super grungy. You prolly don't care too much about their outfits, but yeah, observations and stuff. I really enjoy your channel because I also grew up listening to rock and alternative through the 90s and early 2000s, which then turned into a love of post rock, sludge, doom and stoner metal. And then to KPop. Huh.

I first started listening to DAY6 after hearing Shoot Me!

Anyone else kinda peeved they didn’t win at MAMA?? Dawoon is such a phenomenal drummer. It gets overlooked so often until suddenly you’ll be like “omg wait this drummer is freakin amazing”. And furthering that Wonpil is such an amazing keyboardist. I use that term instead of pianist bc there’s a lot that goes into what he does. And one of my favorite things they do is instrument exchange, they exchange (randomly) instruments of one another and play their songs. It just showcases their talent. Also Day6’s Japanese album is ridiculously good. What am I saying, ofc it is.
