shaider was one of my favorite!!!!
Ahh B-Fighter, a huge part of my childhood.....:')
Metalder goes so hard. I grew up on VR troopers and cannot even stand to look at it now after seeing Metalder lol
I have seen like 15 episodes of Metalder and I see the Kikader touches here and there. I do feel it does get more depth though. Already liking most of the villains as well in that show. The whole show plays with a humanity theme and it makes the main hero and some of the villains worthy of being memorable.
Being from Brazil I'll have to say Juspion FTW.
You know, I'm currently watching Metalder and I think that HE'S the original Zetta from Zetta Project and Batman Beyond.
I wish they would come back to youtube I miss this show
After a uploading-issue scare, our Metal Heroes GCC has returned triumphant to the interwebs! Check it out!
Yes! Tokusatsu is complete (as far as I know). I now have a video for each big series to show my friends who don't know the genre! Now whenever I want to explain toku, I'll just bring them to your toku playlist! Thanks a lot! :)
Hope you guys are doing well! I've learned alot from you guys! :D
Wasn't the design for Robocop partially inspired by one of the Metal Hero characters?
While the overall concept of Beetleborgs (bugs, monsters, and comic books) was good, the execution was......less than desirable. Dennou Keisatsu Cybercops is also worth mentioning as it's Toho made series that is clearly a "Rescue Police" Metal Heroes era knock-off
We've previously covered Ultraman, but the other Kyodai Heroes are on our list for the future.
We covered Ultraman in July 2012! GARO is on the docket for 2014, if all goes to plan.
my favorite metal heroes would be Blue Swat, B-Fighter and Winspector
Footage from Janperson was also used for an episode of BeetleBorgs.
Gavan for me, his name was X-Or in France (for whatever reason) and Metal Heroes were huge in France back then Ask any french guy around 30 yo about Tokusatsu (Spielvan, Winspector,...) but the most popular was Sentai starting with Bioman Anyway good job, thx a lot :)
Yeah you made it sound like Flabber was the main enemy of Beetleborgs, of course he was not. After granting the kids the ability to transform into the Beetleborgs; the monsters called the Magnavores escaped while some dimensional rift was made when FFlabber granted the wish, well that was the explanation given on the show.
Zero isn't rumored. It's in production at the moment. We have a GARO episode on the docket, just not yet.
I woud love to see a Gamera episode! Love the show Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!
I have a great deal of respect for the original android hero of the comics, The Human Torch but I suppose my favorite android hero would be Data of STNG. I do have fond memories of Beetleborgs though.
I personally sanction off Hakaider with the Ishinomori Heroes like Kikaider, Henshin Ninja Arashi, Robot Detective K, Poitrine, etc. Also, Hakaider's not really considered a hero, despite the 1990s Amemiya film. -Michael
Juspion is now officially available on Blu-Ray by Discoteck. Check it out!
It's on the list, don't you worry!
As a brazilian, i think Jaspion is totally awesome! Armour, weapon arsenal (laser sword, laser gun), vehicles (motorcycle, tank, jet, spaceship), mecha (Daileon) A great support character (Boomerman) A perfect antagonist (MacGaren).
Yay!! Red Dwarf next week.... *somersault*... can't wait!
My personal favorite Metal Hero series is Blue SWAT. Extremes underrated. Sad that it's not subbed.

Now it is.
Finally I can see this episode without crashing Hey, Now I understand the title of the show
Thanks so much!
Some yes, none immediately. Points for Captain Britain being on that list. HUGE fan of that character (specifically, the Brian Braddock version). -Michael
That is the current general theory, yes. No airing announcement yet though.
Juspion is probably my fav
The B-Fighter Series - Juukou B-Fighter and B-Fighter Kabuto are my favourites.
Tie between Gavan,Blue Beet and Jaspion. :)
As much as I love the original space sheriffs, my favourite is definitely Metalder.
Thanks!
B-Fighter, B-Fighter Kabuto, Jiraiya, Blue Swat, Metalder would be my choices
My favorite is B-Fighter Kabuto.
I hope Jiban gets subbed soon it looks interesting
Yeah, those.
Tokusatsu isn't complete, but we've hit most of the currently-relevant major players. Plenty of room for more, however.
My favorite metal heroes are the b fighters! I'm that kid who found two 1-handed zeltraxs at Pmc Michael lol

Whoa, thanks for commenting! I never did find a Zeltrax with both hands, haha. -Michael
Also, are there any plans for Geek Crash courses on Spider-Man, King Kong, One Piece, Gamera, Mandrake the Magician or Captain Britain?
I miss Big Bad Beetleborgs. I MISS MY CHILDHOOD!!!!
Uchuu Keiji Sharivan is my favorite
Metalder all the way followed by jiban.
Have you guys done a Mystery Science Theater 3000 video? If not, I think one is long overdue.
My favorite Metal Hero is Gavan because he's played by the incredible Kenji Ohba.

I'm partial to yes, OG Gavan or Jiraiya sempai
B-Fighter, like Kamen Ride Kabuto. Huge costume resemblances!!! Maybe that's Kabuto's inspiration?

Do all the Star Trek incarnations. (One for original series, next generation etc, etc).
Actually, I think Flabber was a blue-skinned Liberace impersonating phantom. He could play the organ (which he was trapped in)

Also he looks like jay Leno.
subbed
My favorite is winspector And my brother is jiraiya

+Finn Horstman Actually, I really want to see Robotack
Gotta go with Gavan and Metalder, Also do we consider Hakaider as part of Metal Heroes?
Metalder
Space Sheriff Gavan
GARO Next!!!
Metalder and Janperson, I can't really get into Spielvan tho.
well sadly the Gavan film bombed in the theaters in Japan, so probably no new Metal Heroes seasons.
Diana got busted!
b-fighters series
It's ironic...the ratings of each Metal Hero Series were much higher compared to Sentai and Kamen Rider (That's including the FINAL two Metal Hero Series). Too bad interested waned. At least we got Kamen Rider back in 2000.
Kakider
Spielvan

tokusatsu is not totally complete. We have: Toei: Kamen Rider. done. Super Sentai. done. Metal Heroes done. Ishinomori misc heroes Toho/Tsurabaya: Godzilla. done. Ultraman done. Choseishin franchise Misc toku heroes Tomica heroes, Misc giant heroes like Ambassador, Mirrorman, Fireman, Megaloman, Jumborg 9, spectreman, Iron king Gridman ect ect. but those are only misc heroes. the only big franchises I figure you can still do are the Kawauki heroes (Moonlight Mask, 7-colour Mask, Rainbowman, Condorman) Where all tv toku started. And Ogon Bat (Golden Bat) Who was the first superhero in both japan and the movies. Most people only find that he had a movie in 1966, 8 years after Super Giant. But in truth there was an earlier movie in 1950.
Does iron man count as a metal hero?? Lol or how bout a metal band like Suicide Silence!?!? \m/ -.- \m/
Kamen riders
No Iron Maiden? No Cannibal Corpse? C'mon... This is shit.
My favorite is winspector And my brother is jiraiya
