It is, I felt like it was TOO easy to get

What's really difficult is the incorporation of all the open strings, natural harmonics and hybrid picking.. it just goes against everything your brain expects where your fingers to be, it's more of a mental challenge

So important to regularly try to learn something outside of ones comfort zone to grow in all aspects. I also learned GOAT, because it's so different to what I usually play and it was very hard at first to wrap my head around that playing style

Yuichi 112 is a seriously underrated KZreadr. Glad to see you using his tab and him getting some credit

Great video and insight. This was like watching me try to learn some of your riffs lol. I agree remembering to take it piece by piece, start slow and not get overwhelmed is key. 🤘🤘🤘

I've fooled myself I could play their songs so many times now. "Oh that one sounds quite feasible". There's always an onion somewhere. And to me the hardest part isn't even necessarily the technique. It's that it all feels like a tongue twister for the fingers. My brain takes forever to integrate the sequences, if it even does.

i think it’s just the goat preset, sounds way too good though. maybe it’s the pickups and speakers he has with them

What I've noticed just watching Polyphia videos is their hands tend to look as if they're in position to play chords, not scale runs. Interesting
