Kiko Loureiro has a vast parallel solo career is def worth to look into into, goes from more melodic metal to more Latin kinda jazz. He’s a guitar prodigy, not only very technical but also very very musical. Mustaine as very picky person is super happy with his addition to the band

Angra brings something different considering they’re not a typical European power metal band. I basically only like what Angra does as power metal, they balance classic music and bring elements of Brazilian music, probably that’s what makes them unique❣️

@@MattFarkas it's also a concept album about the discovery of the Brazil, so the mix between european classic elements with brazilian ethnic rythms makes total sense. You can start by the song "Carolina IV" that better encapsulates the whole concept. Or maybe you do a react video sometime, you won't regret it.

I hope to see more Angra reactions. Temple of Hate and The Shadow Hunter are mindblowing songs. Cheers from Brazil🤘🇧🇷

i got summoned here lmao, jokes aside Angra is great and extremely underrated, i highly recommend the album Temple of Shadows, it's a concept album about the shadow hunter and his inner conflicts over the church and the crusades, any song from that album is a master piece and is considered by many one of the best Power/Prog metal albuns around, keep up and cheers from Brazil!

Angra! ❣️My favorite band in my country. In all three formations, there were always talented musicians, outstanding vocalists, a unique, complex and, for me, wonderful music. I recommend to you, from three different moments, the albums: Holy Land, ✨Temple of Shadows✨ and Omni.✨

Angra is an extremely beloved band among Brazilians and still has a considerable success abroad, although the peak was between 95 and 99, where they were also great in some European countries like France. The band is divided into 3 formations and you reacted to the second, I think that thinking about it it would be nice to suggest music from other formations. Excited to hear more! This was one of my favorite reactions so far!

They released a new live version of that song yesterday hahaha You should check it out. Rafael (Rhythm Guitar) and Felipe (Bass) are the only one that remain from that formation. But the new formation is amazing as well The new formation is Marcelo (Ex Almah, another brazilian power metal band, joined after Kiko was hired by Megadeth) Bruno (One of the best drummers of his generation) And Fabio Lione (Ex-Rhapsody) Check" Light of Transcendence" and "Newborn me", both composed by this new formation

Thanks for reaction There is not much live material from Angra with this same formation, what you will find is material from the current formation which is very different. If you are really interested in the band, I recommend that you start listening to the albuns Angels Cry and Holy Land (Andre Matos on vocals) and the albuns Rebirth and Temple Of Shadows which are the best albuns of Edu Falaschi, who was the second vocalist of the band and that's who appears on vocals in this show

Try Spread your Fire from Temple of Shadows album, it's one of Brazilians metal anthems!

It looks and sounds like Edu Falaschi on vocals. For Angra at their best(and don't get me wrong - I love Edu's music!), check them out when Andre Matos(RIP, maestro!) was lead singer. Also check out Shaman's Fairy Tale (Ritualive version), I Will Return by Andre Matos, Viper - The Spreading Soul Forever, and anything else with Andre on lead vocals. Also check out Dan Vasc - he's got an awesome KZread channel with great covers, along with original music with his band Fearless and music he did with OD.
