Metal Gear - STORY OF THE BOSS

Ойын-сауық

The legendary soldier deserves a video. Tribute to one of my favorite MGS characters. The Boss is a legendary American female soldier, founder and leader of the Cobra unit, the biological mother of Ocelot, mentor and mother figure to Naked Snake, and is known as the mother of the U.S. special forces.
She longed for a world that would be united together in which people would respect each other as human beings, as opposed to remaining in constant conflict. she would go on to dedicate her entire life to her country and its faults to serve as a form of penance for what she felt was a conflict that she had brought upon the world. The Boss maintained strong sense of loyalty to her country as a soldier; her loyalty was so great that she allowed the government to use her ruthlessly and knowingly had her killed by her apprentice Naked Snake.
Music:
Audiomachine - The Truth
Audiomachine - Red Sorrow
Metal Gear Solid 4 Soundtrack - Paradise Lost
MGS Peace Walker - Snake Eater [piano instrumental]

I´m still convinced to this day that Metal Gear Solid 3, Snake Eater was not the story of (Naked Snake) but the story of The Boss, as much as Kojima presented her as a side character she literaly steals the show by far, and also eclipsing Snake itself throughout the entire game.

Eric Frost yes, the fox engine was developed at first just to make a game regarding the boss. The first time kojima said something about it was after mgs3 coming out, and I waited all along until now. Kojima has "defected" from konami, leaving his last greating to the saga in ground zero (the hidden message into the game).. I'd have never imagined it would have ended in that way... There are still too much tales to pass on, too much questions that need an answer.. We will never see another metal gear, and I'm talking about THE metal gear, not that crap that konami is considering to sell.. For me mgs is dead with phantom pain. #fuckonami for putting an end not only to the metal gear saga, but also to silent hill...

There needs to be a game where we control the boss as the protagonist where we get to experience herstory during world war 2 and witness the legend though her prospective. To see the boss fighting alongside the cobra unit i'm watching her rise to becoming the mother of the special forces would be absolutely epic. Can you imagine the end of the game could be the boss been introduced to a young big boss as her first apprentice

If there were to be a MGS game with The Boss and the Cobra Unit during WWII, the game should be called Metal gear Solid: Zero. Because that took place before MGS3 obviously, Major Zero was involved, and Big Boss said, "Everything has it's beginning, but it doesn't start at one. It starts long before that." MGS: Zero could also show more of Major Zero, The Sorrow, her father, Code Talker, and have players play as her (playing just like Solid Snake and Big Boss) the Cobra Unit having different unique powers to progress through the game. And the end of the game would show The Boss seeing 15-year-old John (Naked Snake/Big Boss), for the first time. but if Metal Gear Solid VI/6 existed, it would cover the Metal Gear MSX2 remakes.

ultrix soma Well, I would like to see him create the U.S. military Code talkers Cipher book and it takes place during WWII.He could be a behind the scenes character. He may not mention parasites during that time. (Because it should just focus more on the WWII setting with less of the supernatural stuff with the Cobra Unit being more human using weapons that were related to their powers, and showing how they got their powers in Snake Eater.) And maybe see the birth of Adam Revolver Ocelot. I would like to see a Co-op in the game and maybe have the ability to use some of the Cobra Unit with the ability to switch. Maybe it will show The Boss rescuing the Cobra Unit or they will just be with her on a mission.

Ben Roycroft Well, you can see if I'm not mistaken, that the trailer in which Big Boss awakens from the coma, some white petals are flying in front of the camera, so it's possible that there's some vision of her. What would be cool is if they do her image with the new engine they have created. I mean, it's nice to have her picture of MGS3 as some nostalgia, like in some scenes of MGS4 when you remember how almost every character was in the last games, with the graphics of those games, but it would be cool to have her rendered in a new and powerfull engine.

ultrix soma I think they were kind of in love because they developed CQC together as The Boss' mentioned in the game. They spent a decade together. Snake also mentioned to Eva when she asked about their relationship whether it was love or something, he said it was more than that. You are right though about the relationship being a matter of respect mainly but I also think they were becoming in love. This game proved that war changes everything. Which also gives me vibes from MGS4.

Not true, Kojima himself said that she was a mother figure, mentor and lover to him. All the above. That's why their relationship was complicated

I've tried so many times to find the time to edit gaming videos as I see them in my mind's eye. I could never see them through for how much time they demanded from me. Recognizing how much effort this must have taken, I can only say Thank You for a remarkable video based on a remarkable character in a remarkable game. You and your channel are remarkable. ... And thank you for the inspiration to do better myself.

This video brings tears to my eyes because she gave up everything for her country. It's so sad on games that makes you have killed the person who gave everything it's the proper way to honor her man thank you it's just it's sad for people to die protecting us that's why I understand her judgement for today's life right now

Great quote at the end, but I thought this video would cover all facets of her story, in particular things like Ocelot is her son, all the various factoids you (emotionally) learn through Peace Walker's tapes, like how she instinctively took a bullet to the head when she noticed her abdominal area being targeted, protecting Ocelot before he was even born. Her relationship with Strangelove and Eva. Etc. This was great though.

The bond between The Boss and Naked Snake really strong till it binds me along with it, never felt this strong. The Boss, the strong, influence, wonderful and interesting character I ever know in MGS (for me that is). *This tribute really hit the spot, made me cry so bad T_T*

TBH.. I cried hard seeing her die..due to the fact that Washington wanted her dead to prove their innocence. She has got to be one the most amazing characters in the mgs franchise...I can share the experience of feeling pain crawling down my back..I suffer from Scoliosis and tbh I could feel the pain slither down me and I hate it..but I am willing to make a stand to not do surgery..and I feel so much better now, to make a commitment to do what I need to do..i use scolismart which is something I use and it works but I have been depressed for weeks on end but now..I'm ready to retaliate against the devil...I love the amount of work you put into this..thank you

I'm being honest man I kept watch this day and night because it's the why she would won't it I cried for a day nonstright because it's so sad for her you know life is short but she made her life short for her own country for her country and for her country that is why it's the reason why I love what she did to make us have freedom and I still think the boss is above big boss because for what she did and took her life for us so that's why (I can't believe I'm saying but that's why I love her for what she did so please thank this person who made this and also thank the boss) THANK YOU MAN

MGS3 is my fav of the series but i find myself not replaying it often. The story of the Boss was beautifully crafted, she became very real to me unlike so many feminist heroines in film and video games of this day and age, and every time i revisit the game/story the ending is just too poignant for me. The storyline is an absolute masterpiece and yet i always wish in my heart they had changed the ending simply because i hated how unspeakably tragic the Boss' life was. she deserved better, even if she was just a character.
