@@The-Big-Boss Metal Gear has so much stuff to talk about and has lots of content like codec calls which contain unique dialogue that most players may never hear. Even though the franchise is dead lots of people haven’t ever experienced it, i want this to change. If people like us owned Konami would could expose the entire world to mgs and make all the games in the franchise accessible to everyone. My dream job is to be a game developer so maybe someday I can build a game company with lots of cash, I could then purchase Konami and give back what was ours and Kojima’s. This franchise’s story will continue to be told just like classic books and movies, these discussions will continue among this community and hopefully if Konami goes under new management the community will grow even bigger.

@@OneKit Kaz only trained Solid to the basics or to be mentally prepared he's just a adviser but over all Big Boss is the one who mentor Solid physically, remember that Solid quit using CQC because Big Boss taught it to him and betrayed Foxhound. BB personally trained him in advanced combat skills, particularly CQC and taught him the importance of having the will to survive on the battlefield

Miller mentored Solid Snake and Ocelot mentored Liquid Snake, neither Big Boss nor Venom Snake had a real involvement on their skills (Venom tried, but we know how that ended)

The fight choreography in the cutscenes is splendid! This is one of the most impressive fights I've ever seen in a video game.

While it seems over the top, i think twin snakes is more accurate in displaying the physical abilities of Snake compared to the other titles. Given what he archieves and the foes he fights it makes sense that he can jump inhumanly high, send someone flying through the air with a single punch or even jump off a flying missile and react to bullets.

Solid Snake wasn't Superhuman he was the epitome of an extremely skilled human. They kind of did Solid just but they nerfed Liquid he was supposed to be stronger and more durable then Snake. Towards the end their surprised he's alive, and he almost killed snake with his weapon. But then he died of Foxdie.. Solid Snake was sad that Liquid died. I don't know why they made it seem like he had so much hatred for him. Liquid was always the physically strong one, with more skills and experience. Solid Snake had the edge by actually being trained by Big Boss though and Kaz.

In Guns Of The Patriots Old Snake (much weaker and slower than his younger self) was able to quickly riddle Vamp with bullets before he could react (in Son's Of Liberty Vamp was casually dodging Raiden's pointblank gunfire by dancing), then easily physically overpowered Vamp in a CQC hold, long enough to take away his power with a nanomachine suppressor. In their first encounter Cyborg Raiden matched Vamp (who was toying around with him) and went into a coma, after this Raiden spends most of the game recovering from his injuries. Then a full power Raiden fights a substantially weakened Vamp and almost got killed by him. In Rising Revengence. After getting destroyed by Jetstream Sam, getting an improved, stronger cyborg exoskeleton, and fighting the Winds Of Destruction. Raiden says that Snake is stronger than everyone he's fought.

And finally, in charge of them... FOX-HOUND's squad leader, Liquid Snake.

It’s the same battle but liquid was much harder in the OG. If you didn’t keep count of your rotations or just did the infinite combo liquid would dodge some of your punches move to the side and knock you instead. Liquids punches and movement were a lot faster in the OG than TTS. I enjoyed both but I’m just stating that they really nerfed him

I would like to make a chart of the moveset that shows Liquid performing each action, if I can get his model from Mgs1 or Twin Snakes then I can pose it for each move which will help me make the moveset chart. I’m only using moves that Liquid has performed himself, which means I’m going to try to avoid anything from Mgs4 and Mgs5.

@@donkeykongisytpooping3002 if you're still working on the moveset and are good with Brawl/Project M mods, I can give you Liquid's Twin Snakes model and a model of Liquid if he was in Smash Ultimate. P.S. I can also give you a Solidus model and moveset that's near completion, just needs his P90 machine gun and harrier final smash. Metal Gear has a lack of mods when it comes to Smash for some reason. You'd think people would treat the first 3rd party character with respect.

I don't like how in the cutscenes they made it seem like Solid Snake just handily overpowered Liquid. In the series Liquid was the better fighter and far more durable. Solid Snake just kept getting lucky, esp. The car scene wth was that? They also act like Solid Snake wanted Liquid to die in every way. In the original Metal Gear when Liquid got into the car wrecked and died. Snake didn't want Liquid to die he felt sad, in some way he wanted to find a way to work things out with his brother. It was even further proven in MGS4 when after the rex fight Ocelot faked his death to troll Snake like he had Foxdie and Snake genuinely panicked like he didn't want him to die like that again. Snake never hated Liquid in a sense that he would enjoy his death, he hated Liquid in a sense that he ruined his life and why did it have to be this way. But he wouldn't have taunted him while he was dying of fox die like in this scene. Was extremely stupid.

I don't know why, but the way Naomi asks "Frankie said that?" always got to me. I think it's because of how stoic she was throughout the whole game, and then you hear her say that line, with the little *snif* right before it, and it was like her emotional side finally coming through.

Liquid's last words: "Snake! Snake! Snake! Fox?"

as silly as the matrix scenes were, i really liked the fight cutscene on the top of rex (which was surprisingly referenced in mgs4) and the final cutscene of liquid enduring foxdie for a moment just to stand in front of snake, out of pure unfiltered rage

It was almost more fitting to see Liquid get back up and stare down Snake as he's succumbing to FoxDie after seeing how Big Boss was able to deliver a full blown speech and was able to stand to give one last salute to The Boss's grave at the end of MGS4 as he was succumbing to the new FoxDie strain.

Liquid - falls from a height that according to him would kill someone like him and Snake, survives, then chases Snake and Meryl while tanking a dozen bullets, while shirtless, from a mounted machine gun by Snake, still survives. Also Liquid - Foxdie

Otacon looked so brave ready to die from the surface piercing nuke to give Snake and Meryl a fighting chance to live.

People keep saying this game sucks because the cutscenes but I can't help but notice that they are the most replayed parts in the videos lol

I love how this fight is similar to the end of mgs4. Some of the moves are exactly the same too.

Falling of MG Rex after getting beaten, car chase getting shot than car crash, only to die by a virus. Liquid is resilient AF.

Pretty funny how Snake keeps his fist raised and sniffs the air, after uppercutting Liquid lol.

I preferred the ending of the escape in the OG where liquid pulls ahead of Snake's jeep then pulls a left turn just to try to get a shot off and gets T-boned. Plus having snake pinned under the jeep when liquid comes back for the final time added some gravitas especially with Liquid clawing at snake after the fox die gets him. This version just makes Liquid's death look pathetic

Ok I have to say that (notwithstanding a few good additions and graphic updates) I prefer the original movie scenes over these ones. The originals were delivered with passion, whereas these ones sounded more than a little flat and the drawn out movie sequences more than a little corny.

Liquid was totally jealous of Snake when it was not he who had the recessive genes..

Liquid's model is just Snake with lighter skin, blonde hair, and a tattoo. Solidus' model is Snake with grey hair and a full beard Big Boss in Snake Eater is just Snake's Iroquois Pliskin model with a full beard and added facial features.

Not really it make sense he the dominant genes. Look at his feats even as a child he was able to push back Venom snake a full grown adult. He walk around in the fucking winter blizzard wearing no shirt & trench coat and doesn't get cold. Snake shoots multiple rockets while he was in the cockpit of metal gear rex and receive no damage then proceeded to drag solid snake to the top of metal gear to fist fight only to get knocked down 40 feet.
