Venom Snake, in my opinion, should be one of the most respected Snakes to ever live. He fought so hard, fighting a Metal Gear the size of a building, super soldiers, and entire armies, just to have his legacy be an add-on for Big Boss.

Daniel Leon He’s not actually a clone. He was *SPOILER* The medic on board the heli with Big Boss. They gave the medic plastic surgery so he can look like Big Boss, but isn’t cloned from Big Bosses genes. He is actually a very remarkable one man army soldier.

Daniel Leon Yea, I get you. But just being a mental copy doesn’t give him BB’s abilities. He is still the same medic. But he is an exceptional soldier. If I remember, Big Boss himself learned some techniques from you the player.

Oh come on, mate. MGSV was a blast. I still believe its story is just fine and does what it ultimately needed to do by bridging the games and showing that Big Boss is kind of a bellend for letting his best man carry his burdens. Besides, the gameplay's just really bloody fun. XD

@Vic Viquor no they didnt cut david hayter out. it simply wasnt big boss, it was ahab speaking, so they changed the voice. but the original big boss's voice is still david hayter.

Everyone wants a Metal Gear Solid remake but how about a remake of Metal Gear 1 and/or 2? Fighting Venom Snake or Big Boss as Solid Snake with a modern game engine would be the greatest thing in MGS history.

well, at least we got what we got and do you think that remakes are actually necesary ? wouldn't they get much hate if a thing went wrong in the remaking process ? im sadly one of those guys who loves the original, jeah the 2 metal gear titles could get a bit of rework, but mgs 1 and on won't need reworks, they are nostalgic. the only thing those games could need is to make em avivable on pc or anny newer consoles to make em avivable again the commercial way. emulators are fine but not everyone uses them. and you can't say that mgs1 graphics are bad, they are wonderfull in my eyes. i still think mgs 3 and peace walker where the best though and thats the reason why a model of a chrysalis is standing on my desk right now (i dont really got much fanmerge from other series though, mgs is simply the best)

This already is canon. This is the end of Metal Gear 1 after Solid Snake infiltrated it and killed the fake Big Boss (AKA: Venom Snake) in Operation Intrude N131 (the cassette tape at the end of MGS5 has Operation Intrude N131 written on it, where Big Boss tells Venom about a mission being done to infiltrate Outer Heaven, then Venom punches the mirror and walks into darkness). Zanzibarland, which Big Boss mentions in this vid, was the setting for Metal Gear 2, where Solid Snake allegedly killed the real Big Boss. And then MGS picks up the storyline, ultimately ending with MGS4 showing the real death of Naked Snake (aka: Big Boss) by succumbing to FOXDIE.

Big Boss: “Your Mission is over.” Kaz: “Mission complete and how? They’re gonna tell stories about this one Boss!”

Clairissa fix I think is somewhere in the briefing files of mgs1 that’s what it seems like but I played and beat mgs1 again not long ago and saw the files but I don’t remember that

@@HydrikMasqued yeah but big boss was never going to actually fire a nuke at innocent civilians. that was part of his bluff. he wasn't bad. he was trying to fulfill what he thought was what the boss wanted "a place for soldiers to be soldiers forever at peace through constant battle" but really the boss wanted a world that didn't need soldiers, war, or borders.

@@vicount3944 you misinterpreted the situation. He saw their deaths necessity for the greater good. To save the life of him and venom and continue their plan. His plan wasnt necessarily eternal warfare. It was more for the entire world to know war and what it's like to be a soldier, and to remove all borders and make soldiers always have a purpose. He hated how veterans were treated after war. But it wasnt villainous. It was more antihero than villain.. in the end, his plan would lead to world peace

not really. mainly the only thing wrong is they badly tried to use a Doyle sound alike for Big Boss, when they should have used a Kiefer sound a like as well. Kiefer did voice the real Big Boss in Ground Zeroes and in the intro and true ending of Phantom Pain.

I saw gameplay videos and a "let's play" of the game months ago and when I watched the LP, one of the things that bugged me all the way to the end was a weird feeling. I could feel like the game wasn't a Metal Gear installment, like it didn't deserve to bear the name of the series and that MG: Survive was supposed to be part of a series of games that were unrelated to the MG series but was modified later on to be part of it. "Metal Gear: Survive" could have simply been part of some other horror videogame series.

I can tell that the person voicing the real Big Boss was replicating the MGS4 BB voice by Richard Doyle, however here he sounds a lot like Gideon Emery. Venom Snake on the other hand sounds exactly like Kiefer Sutherland. Spot on voice impression!

the voice acting's still fucking ass, Big Boss still ain't old as fuck yet, Big Boss sounds like shit. Should've just used Kiefer impressionist since they're literally the same person.

At first I thought the Big Boss impression was kinda weak but it actually sounds like a *pretty good* combination of how David Hayter made him sound and how he sounded in MGS4 when Richard Doyle voiced him. Venom sounds PERFECT though, I actually thought it was voice clips from Sutherland.

Benjamin m I think this was trying to further differentiate Venom from Big Boss, Hayter was Big Boss long before Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain anyhow so it makes sense someone would try and emulate a voice for him different than Sutherland.

I honestly thought Phantom Pain would end in a similar manner: with Solid Snake being the last boss and with no way of defeating him. That would've been a historic finale... I don't think this has ever been done in gaming history.

Armored Core Nexus,, you fight your way through an incredibly tough end mission, destroy the main computer and it's ultimate Pulveriser unit (always gets rebuilt better and smarter based on data collected from the previous one) then can't shut down the launch sequence on thousands of unmanned bomber units so you make them target where you are. It ends with a really depressing tune playing while you dodge and shoot them down....but they never actually stop coming.

I just realized the soldier that got on his Truck was Hideo Kojima. Really small easter egg you have to zoom in.

Guitarriff1988ii The game already ends with a glimpse in the future, when Venom punches his reflection if you look in the background there's an Outer Heaven logo instead of a Diamond Dogs one, it wouldn't have been much of a stretch to organically incorporate something like this video/the comic instead. Also this was the last game in a *long* series, I don't care if new fans to it would be confused they'd just have to go back and play the older games or look it up for clarification.

I love this, this is the perfect ending that Metal Gear Solid V the phantom pain should have gone out on. Final boss confrontation with Solid Snake and this beautiful ending. I'm so glad I found this, this is a much better send-off to Metal Gear than anything Konami has done.

@TheGoblinKingKnownAsPonyBoy - No, it wouldn't have made sense for this to be the end of MGS5. This is basically the ending of Metal Gear 1 and sets up the beginning of Metal Gear 2.

Its about time someone animated this well. Like the touch with the soundtrack and that the voices for BIG BOSS & VENOM are close to sounding like there MGS4 and 5 counterparts. Also, nice work around hiding the missing arm with Kaz's outfit for big boss, didn't notice the first time.

Thank you for making this. I am a 45 year old man, and when i saw Quiet....i cried.

The battle between Solid and Venom should be a secret boss fight in Phantom Pain

This was amazing. Other than the emotion of the scene, the thing that really impressed me was that during the flashback sequence at the beginning Snake's handgun was an m9 Beretta just like in the original game. Great attention to detail.

Its totally amazing! This should have been the epiloge of MGS V: TPP. A fight with Solid Snake, a last call from Big Boss and Venom Snakes last moments when Quiet appears in his mind to pick him up. This would have been an amazing end but we were played....

Venom Snake. The man who had his identity replaced with a legend then he lived the life of that legend. Even after he figured out who he truly was, he played his part. He was a normal soldier. A normal medic, yet he played the role of Big Boss perfectly. He will never be remembered. For he is a phantom, but Big Boss remembers. And a thank you from the real Big Boss himself? That's one hell of a reward.

For years now I've been imagining, thank you for adapting the comic so well.

I can see that but for me it ended with 4, the final moments at the boss' grave with snake and BB. Awesome ending gave me all the closure i needed. TPP was just cool mini story filler from the past for me. I fucking love metal gear.

Okay yeah that was the saddest cutscene since the boss tbh. Fantastic, I hope kojima sees that his fans will carry on the legacy of the world he made for us, in spite of how his former employers will bastardize any future installments of our beloved franchise. Great job man, you're pretty good.

He was fired from konami duder. He knows how much we all love metal gear he never got to finish producing 5 tbh i'm pretty sure if he had it his way both metal gear solid 5 gz and tpp would've been one whole game and. The whole damn prolouge would've been gz. Then he would've done all the extra shit from the relased with special edition. And perhaps had even lead it up to this in the end or something close lol.

To their credit, however little there is, it would seem they stopped with Survive; which honestly was just a test to see if "MG" would still garner buyers regardless of anything else. From what I've seen, it's an okay zombie game, just the fact that "MG" is on it that's the problem; along with the recycle of TPP's assets.

Holy shiiiit!!!! This was amazing!! Love you man. This is like i always imagine the end of venom snake. With a last talk and thanks from Big Boss. That guy sacrifice his life. identity and future for boss. All he was and could have been. And never doubt it. A moment of silent for you. The other boss.

I like how Solid Snake's shroud is just Kiryu in a military uniform and a headband. Really clever.

Ive watched this so many damn times and its perfect! I dont know about the rest of you, but I will admit that I get teary eyed. Ahab fought so hard and it all came to end with him dying. He was so strong, a bad ass, and died like a champ! I would assume when he saw Quiet he was hallucinating again. That music, gets me everytime!

Big boss voice is kinda odd, venom is perfect tho

Hot damn this was excellent! I keep thinking to myself, what if this was the real ending to Phantom Pain? Think about it, you fight Solid Snake but its a grueling fight, and you cant best him! He just flat out destroys you and then this video rolls out! That would have been an epic ending! Im glad this exists. Thank you so much for creating it!

kiwokakusu スナイパーウルフのボスがネイキッドであるように、クワイエットを救い本物の仲間として認めたのがヴェノムですしね MGSVの最期がしっかり描かれてこういうシーンならこのゲームがまさしく伝説になれたでしょうな 残念で仕方ない…

I love how the real Big Boss has a more David Hayter-esque voice.
