I also like that there is no song "а soul can't be cut". Because she sings about Jack the Ripper, but Monsoon and Sam are dead, so Raiden wasn't broken psychologically. Instead of this song, "the hot wind blowing" is playing, which tells about the usual work of a thug. Yes, it's a bloody job, but nothing more.

Ironically getting his ass kicked by Sam was the best thing that could have happened to Raiden. He never reached his full potential with his cyborg body otherwise.

Yeah, it's a pretty nice detail: since Raiden hasn't beat Monsoon and Sam (and didn't do his "Jack is back" stuff), the theme of those battles is Hot Wind Blowing, instead of A Soul Can't Be Cut, which means that he didn't outgrew his "protecting the weak" ideals.

Armstrong is the main antagonist, and even Sundowner is more important than Sam, but the idea is there.

@@BuddyMGS He's an important character to the development of Raiden, but if we're talking plot-wise, Sundowner worked more closely with Armstrong, and the game essentially focuses on Raiden trying to take down Sundowner until he finds out about Armstrong's plan.

@@dantepizza6310 No, that is incorrect. The main antagonist is the director of the primary conflict within a videogame. Sam merely serves as a rival to Raiden and is a more influential threat than most of the Winds of Destruction except for Sundowner, whom he spends most of the game trying to stop until he discovers Senator Armstrong, the mastermind behind the conflict in the story. Not only that, but Sam also ends up playing a key role in assisting Raiden for the story’s climax.

The attention to detail is truly next-level. In R-05 we hear "Hot Winds Blowing" instead of "A soul can't be cut", because there was no Monsoon to awaken the Ripper.

The prologue body also seems to be an upgrade from the MGS4 body, since canonically the Red Blood is supposed be an improvement over the White Blood and all that, which the Prologue body had

The Armstrong final battle definitely plays more like a metal gear solid boss fight. Is it possible you can make a custom mission about Raiden escaping the Patriots after becoming a cyborg?

​@daleluminanumber3 Kojima wasn't a part of solid rising's development though. He was busy working on peace walker, I doubt he has the assets of the original project. The cool and sad thing about solid rising is the fact that everything besides proper game play was made and finished. Unused bosses that platinum games turned down, the level maps. Etc. Solid rising would've taken place in a few locations. nevada, home of area 51 Miami Florida (concept art shows a cyborg enemy with japan text that reads "Miami." (It's an assumption but, what else represents the word Miami other than Florida?) And a really interesting place is Mexico. Yep solid rising was going to have a Mexican factory level. I guess revengeance kept something similar.

Honest to God, you have no idea how long I've been waiting for a mod like this. I never hated the back scabbard, but I always preferred how the hip scabbard looked in the prologue and it killed me how nobody even bothered to try recreating it. People back in the day were adamant that it was impossible and I should just let that desire go, but here we are with literal proof that it is possible. If you can now just modify the model to use the original body head and maybe even make a variant that uses the custom body & scabbard, it will fully convince me that Metal Gear Rising becoming popular again wasn't a mistake, because goddamn just seeing this is making me impossibly happy. Little things like this should have been in the game at the start.

In nexus mods, there is a mod that replaces the suit with the skull armor from MGS2 (is taken from PlayStation All stars)

Это шедевр для коммьюнити мгрр, подобное ещё никто не делал. Ты зря время не потерял,эти кастомные катсцены да ещё и сделанные в геймплее. Райден засовывает меч в ножны (анимация которую можно вызвать заменяя другую или пользоваться redtrainer) Закрывающийся визор из cheat menu, из врагов выпадают repair'ы.Да всё таки голоса на монтаже. Меня расмешило это - "Kept you waiting, huh?" Не пытаюсь быть подсосичем, это искренние эмоции,я самолично наблюдал за процессом разработки, глава за главой, неделя за неделей. Удачи в следующих проектах!

I still think it's very amusing that Raiden is impressed with the story of Sam defeating a squad of cartel gunmen with only a sword and no power suit, when he himself was able to fight through a small army of mercenaries in power armor with only a sword and also no power suit. You were deflecting bullets five minutes after picking the thing up, my guy.

A few things that could make this better (not that it should cause it great) 1: play the whole prologue cutscene until the boss fight with Sam 2: use the box to sneak (and to give it the MGS vibe) 3: play the end credits (mainly cause the music)

I mean most of the bosses were not as strong as Sam, especially sundowner. It wasn't so much his body being not strong enough it was the lack of initial skill.

Well the short answer is, I don't think Raiden would have won. Sam gifting his sword to Raiden is the reason that Raiden won the fight against Armstrong. Without it he would have died.

Raiden beating Sam would imply that he is already strong enough to beat Armstrong at the start of the game. Sam put up an excellent fight against Armstrong, knocking him down multiple times and taking his arm once, and if Raiden could beat Sam, surely Raiden would at the very least put up a better fight.

Very well made video. This is the kinda stuff I was sure was going to be made when I saw mods such as the Free Camera for example. Hopefully there will be more cinematic MGR videos like this one.

@@bruhgod123 prologue sam is always blocking You, no matter what and when he hits You and You parry he does chip damage to ensure he always wins. Here its Sam from 07 mission but only his first phase i believe as there is no room for third or second one

Это выглядит ооочень круто, это видео я считаю можно даже назвать шедевром моддинга МГР, все проработано до мелочей каждой мелкой детали автор уделил время, а финальная битва в стиле МГС4 с музыкой из предыдущих частей выглядит очень круто. Автор хорошо постарался над видосом, и заслуживает уважения за столь огромную проделанную работу. И ещё хотел бы посмотреть гайд как автор все это делал.

I can see this Raiden getting a different epilogue. This Raiden seemed a more stable and serious version, even more mature, like he kept the development gained in previous entries. Seems like he wouldn't be as violent, but much wiser, and still very strong.

The only mod i want for real. At least for the reVAMPed armstrong fight. Mainly cuz it's a huge MGS 4 reference, stylized to fit Jack's path in life (or what's widely known of it), instead of Snake's. Truly PATRIOTic. Gonna assume that after this, he returned to Rosemary and little John. The way Kojima wanted. And became a cyborg plumber.
