venom also take the majority of the blast from the helicopter explosion in mgsv too and had tons of shrapnel stuck in him, hes built different

volgin was dangerous to the war economy and big boss was a reluctant champion of the war economy so no.

Headcanon: In that moment, Big Boss' only thought between the screaming was "Holy fuck this hurts. Is this how that Quiet chick felt? Man, I'm an asshole."

It's absurd that this guy beat the Fury but dies when snake grills him with hairspray and a lighter.

To some people who are quick to dismiss the fact that BB went down so easily after his experience fighting The Boss, Volgin, The Fury, think back to what Snake said to Naomi in MGS when talking about the fact that he was revealed about his father. “And you were able to kill him knowing that?” “Yup.” “How?” “He wanted it. Besides, some people just need killing.” Or the revised quote from Twin Snakes, “It’s what we wanted. Me and him.”

True as an aside I liked the original dialogue far better

Crazy the boss told big boss almost the same thing before their battle, and going back to this game we really see howmuch big boss had warped the original boss" vision.

THAT is the million dollar question, apparently when the Patriots recovered His "remains" He was 99.9999999 % dead after being flame grilled by Solid Snake and they ended up putting Him into a medically induced coma, but HOW He actually survived this is beyond me

@@FunnySuitGuy Yeah Big Boss is definitely in a whole different league when it comes to durability, and it also explains why His Sons/Clones can survive as much as they do such as Liquid surviving the helicopter crash, the explosion of Rex, falling off of Rex, and the jeep crash before Foxdie FINALLY finished Him off, and Solid Snake had been tortured repeatedly by Ocelot, had faced off against several of the Genome Soldiers plus Foxhound and still managed to have enough strength to beat Liquid Snake in a fist-fight, save Meryl and escape Shadow Moses Island

Why did boss said the line about feeding kids to the battlefield? Did he get mad after phantom pain or he was just feeding a lie to Snake to kill make him fight harder? The kids we are seeing are just war orphans that big boss saved and they’re around there playing what’s boss talking about? What was he trying to do?

He's not talking about the kids we see in Phantom Pain, if that's what you're confused about. He's talking about children that are living in Zanzibar that look up to Big Boss. I don't think he's saying they are currently child soldiers, rather he is saying that the long term plan is to turn them into soldiers to perpetuate this cycle of war.

i don't know if you have seen the reply i wrote but if you don't here's another big boss in manipulating the world ad this point to get rid of the rogue AI system that the patriots created to convert the world into an enormous battlefield a system that feeds itself from a cycle financed by war economy and what's big boss lan was? taking rescues to zanzibar making them lay with guns until they are manipulated to become soldiers? not very big boss how did he change his way to view the war so much and so quickly? @@carterherbert1829

1. We see Big Boss indoctrinate Chico as his child soldier in Peace Walker. Did you miss all that? 2. That's not Big Boss in Phantom Pain. That's Venom and he was prepared to send the children back to war till Miller stopped him. 3. They kidnapped and displaced those children, raising them away from their families and cultures as their labourer. How can you be so clueless?

No, this is the real Big Boss. Venom Snake dies at the end of MG1. This Boss is actually still alive after this fight, but goes into a coma and his body is completely destroyed, which will be "rebuilt" using Solidus' pieces

Doesn't make any sense, you meet him in MGS4 and he doesn't look anything like a burn victim. Kojima should've brought some time travel idea into the mix and turn skullface into a BB from the future that traveled back in time to change the timeline.
