Coming along nice Scott, can't wait for the plans!

I just recently found your website and videos. I’m a retired ME and have been teaching myself Fusion360 for some consulting work so I’m sure you have encountered many of the same frustrations figuring out how to get the CAD right. Anyway, your thought process looks sound. I too am really looking forward to this becoming a product or at least a sound set of plans. Keep at it, you are close.

When you put the lights nuts on, it looked like they were taper side out....I know this isn't an automotive application where they should be taper side in...but putting them taper side in in this application would keep the wheel in the same place and run-out consistent. Correct?

This project is really interesting, can't wait for the next episode. I appreciate that you carefully adjust the audio levels in your videos, so the tool noise is still audible but not deafening.

Thanks. I do my best, it does seem like there's a bit of weird clipping but it's not present in the original footage. VLC also seems to change the bass level during playback if it's no longer the main window open on the computer . . . which is odd and doesn't give you a lot of confidence when reviewing videos. Next time I'll use something else, or maybe it's a Windows 10 thing . . .

Hi Scott, I was just curious if you were still working on this project and also I was thinking. Have you thought about making the table and then disassembling it and shipping all the parts to the buyer? What would that cost? I wouldn't mind putting it all together, I would just have trouble making the boards precise, so I would much rather just buy the pieces from you and then assemble it.

The metal mechanism version is on hold, there hasn't been enough interest yet to start building and distributing kits.

@@ScottRumschlag o man, rats. Okay not a problem, I just really like the concept of a table thats like the Fletcher capstan tables out there. Cheaper of course lol. I really hope that there is more interest in this soon! I will make sure I spread the work over here in these parts!

I watch that you have increased the mechanic of your system, but to be completely honest I think that it's excessive.... Just my opinion, I'm designing similar fornitures but, ignore me but, I thing that it could be made with aluminium, did you check the materials resistance with a software? Is a furniture, users what's something light and functional... Best regards, is a pleasure follow your job

The previous iteration was mostly aluminum, steel is easier to work with.

did you finish the table?

Odd but I have no audio on this specific video, restarted browser still no audio, try another video and audio works. EDIT restarted computer still no audio, ???

Seems I can get the audio if I use speakers, but not through the headphones on this one video.

Oh.. I feel a bit stupid and slow. I thought this was about metal expansion. :D
