Wow Matt. What a spot you found there! I love spots that give up a wide range of different finds. Pretty soon I'll be posting a video where I found a VMI button. It's pretty rough, but I know you like the uncommon civil war relics. I found it in the same neighborhood as my Kentucky militia button over the summer. There's lots of interesting confederate relics in the area.

Matt, I enjoyed the video. Wish I could have been out there swinging my coil with you. When I saw the two harmonica reeds I thought you were back at Harmonica Hill in North Carolina. Awesome coins and relics, great job. Merry Christmas to you my friend.

Great hunt. Sorry to be picky but 1932 was the first year of the Washington quarter, not '34. I love my Deus too.

You are correct, John! The Washington quarter started out as a "commemorative" coin, but was so popular they continued the design all the way to today. Thanks for calling that out! HH

I know there are detecting clubs in Raleigh and Greensboro, but I'm not familiar with any clubs in the Sandhills region. HH
