+Deep Digger Dan Yeah no kidding... lol. Years ago, I did an art show up in Great Falls Montana.. where Western Artist Charley Russell lived... A guest of mine, Alfred Hitchcock's daughter, Patricia O'Connell, and I went on a tour of Russell's home, there... and I remember her saying, if the walls could talk. I'm so jealous of you Dan! Nothing like finding ancient history! The oldest coin I've ever found was 105 years old, and it was in my front yard, lol. That's what I get for living in Kansas.

Well done. Great finds and good video. I should be so lucky! Still, last Monday, sat it the doctor's surgery with the dreaded winter lurgy, feeling very down-in-the-mouth, I got talking to the guy sat next to me who tells me he has a 60 acre farm in the nearby Pendle Hill/Blacko Tower area! In like Flint - "Has it ever been detected?", "No", "Any chance of giving me permission, split any spoils 50/50?", "Sure, why not, come and go as you please". Was nearly skipping out of that surgery. Got up there for an hour today in a nice bit of sun, amongst horses and rabbits, after a long break. Just got to find any good stuff now instead of many horseshoes (the biggest collection in the NW) and my first hammered. Am 70 next but great this hobby, Ain't it?

Great finds Dan . I always take a little plastic box with me filled with bits of foam soaked in olive oil , Any find made of bronze or alloys of , such as your crotal bell , i put straight into the oily box . It stops the oxidisation in its tracks and keeps the lovely patina from vanishing before your eyes .

Love the lead horse! Thick coin was a cartwheel penny 1797 Ive had 7 of them always rotted away though! WOW Danzerman!!! what a find those Roman coins are spectacular Im glad for you!! Cant wait to find some myself! Great video hunt, really enjoyed it :-)

Great video Dan! The brick with the led on was about in the 1800-1920s when they used lead instead of cement! By using (non rusting metal like lead) because it holded longer and was reusable! Keep up the great work!

Awesome video, thanks for sharing, so many good finds. 11:00 certainly looked like a cartwheel penny and 20:54 looks very much like a Georgian toy cannon :) Also it goes without saying the Roman coins were amazing let alone being silver and in that condition. Great outcome after what looked to be an intense day.

Those Dinari you guys found are probably part of a hoard, so somewhere in that field could be hundreds more buried, waiting to be found. I hope you plotted on a map of the field where they were found, so hopefully you can trace back to the source. Good luck my friend, Graham.

If I found Roman items here, it would change world history, lol, Well so long as I didn't find it a museum. [just trying to be funny]. To think, you pick up stuff that was held by Romans and other ancient people the last time someone held them, that is gold.
