If you have a powerful enough loop, though prefer a microscope, you can sometimes make out a certification number that is laser etched on the edge of the diamond. Its VERY small. Possibly to trace ownership or just to have for your records since you can get online and access the certificate record. Found an engagement ring last week, white gold with a .61 carat diamond that I was able to trace back to its cerification document. 2nd ring ive been able to do so far. Anyways, great hunt and a very nice score on the rings! Congrats!

I just woke up from a dream that i was at the beach and i had just dug up three nickels. Then i turn on my phone and watch Brian dig up two gold rings in the same spot...then i thought...Figures! 😂😂😂

I found a ten kt wedding set once in water I knew it instantly too when I had two 8 signals within 6 inches of each other took two scoops to get them
