I cannot imagine pulling a Morgan dollar out of the ground. For me, one of the prettiest US coins. Such a substantial piece of metal. GREAT find

Thanks! Yeah its just really one of those coins that always takes you by surprise when it comes up. It's amazing how someone could drop that and not be able to find it and pick it back up before it gets buried in the ground.

my first Morgan was also a1884 ;and in excelent shape,

I use the 8 oz. lever spray bottles with adjustable tip that blasts coin clean in 2 seconds.

My first silver Morgan was also a 1884 no mint. My second and last Morgans was a 1891 cc worth over $625.00

I guess the people who gave this video a thumbs down were just jealous lol.Great video guys.

That would be a 1905 O “Micro O” dime. Very scarce variety worth $$$!

Zach, great great find on the Morgan, HUGE Congrats. I always enjoy the live digs, shows how open and upfront you guys are, but...your new digging buddy who sounds disappointed with a Barber instead of a seated sounds a little pretentious. WITH THE NOX I HAVE NOTICED WHEN A COIN IS ON EDGE THE NUMBERS DROP!

Water! Hunt with a dinky, soft plastic , water-tight bottle - just drop your coin in, with some water, shake like the dickens, and PRESTO, your coin is free of mud - use at least once again, then refresh the water

I've never dug a Morgan dollar... Does it sound like a pop can?

Dude! Stop using the crappy little spray bottles! wear a Camelback, and blow water into it to pressurize it, then squeeze the mouth piece. But nice finds. :)

If you tilt the bottle too far forward it won’t work.
