Thanks Priscilla! Glad you like. I know the target sounds can be a bit much, now and then. But the sound of a target can be way more important than the VDI / Target IDs but those VDIs give us a good indicator too as to what's there. Still training my ears to the nuances in the sound. Cheers!

We really like being able to hear the detectors and love the vid numbers on the screen. We use the Deuss 2 as well. We typically don’t watch any videos when we can’t hear the detector.

Thanks! THe DEUS II (2) is a great detector. And it's all about how it sounds on it. Same here, as we normally prefer videos with the detector audio heard. It gives much more information that way!

Nice finds for this time of year ! We need warm water !

Thanks! Terri has the passion from her Dad who used to metal detect all over Arizona. Our detectors have come a long way from his Bounty's, White's and Garrett days. Then I got hooked in too! You'll find just about anything on the beach, or anywhere, really. Just the way it goes! Cheers.

Nice change finds and an earring to boot. Not too bad. 👍🏼 . Had and having some storms coming through our area and finding a bit of various metal finds along the rock line but no change nor jewelry. Ouch ! Last storm brought in pretty much a produce market. Lemons , avocados, onions , strawberries and even kiwi fruit. Only waiting on that jewelry display to wash up now 😂

I too like you saying/showing the VDIs as I just got a Deus 2 and it is worlds apart from my mind labs and Garrett. So I’m learning everything about it including the VDI’s. Plus I to live close to the beach so those numbers are of interest to me.

Thanks! Well I hope you like it! WAY different than most detectors out there! The Manticore users I know don't want to use the DEUS II (2). DEUS is quite a bit more complicated (but can be simple too.) Oh yeah! the DEUS II -- especially when it comes to the sound. You can make it sound like an Equinox/Vanquish with the high square tones in advanced setup. I have a custom profile or 2 set up that way. I'm thinking I need to put up a comparison chart showing the VDIs on the different machines. The DEUS II manual shows a range, but it's related to what one would find in the UK or Europe and doesn't fully equate to the states. It even isn't always consistent with a coin find like you may see in our videos. A 30 is pretty solid on the Nox or Vanquish would most likely be a Quarter. But the DEUS II may show that between 88 and 93 depending upon the density, depth, angle... But the sound gives some excellent tells too! Still learning a lot about it! Cheers.
