It happened in an instant and took me a while to process, an after thought based on the colour was metal burning up as it entered our atmosphere, l have seen different metals burning blue/green in the fire and thought that might explain the bright green l saw, how awesome it would have been to catch that on film, however fortunately l did catch one mysterious night event l will soon upload, l mean really weird for me being out there in the bush with no clue as to what l was seeing, l look forward to an explanation and glad you enjoyed the vid, cheers NM.

A few experienced gold hunters been telling me you can't find gold with a cheap metal detector bt I've seen some ppl on KZread find good gold with cheaper brands, mine cost about $159 lol bt it has pin point, today I'm going to Dunolly in Victoria it be the first time to really test the machine, watching vids like yours teaches me things, if I am lucky enough to find anything significant, ill certainly let you know 😇

@TheNuggetMagnet
4 жыл бұрын
@@bedrockbennett1827 Nice pick up, that is cool and 8 grams in the pan, fantastic, you need those days and are well deserved, the chatter sounds more electro than mineralisation, mineralisation comes and goes and is ground specific, usually in patches whereas electrical will affect entire areas and is much harder to escape, there are places on this planet where electric fields will make your hair stand up so if your not seeing overhead power lines or radio towers and the problem is not just in that one area then go through the elimination process starting with power cord, connections, leads, etc, because there will be more gold where you found that speci, keep up the great work and best luck out there, cheers NM.

The shape and the way it radiates back the metal detectors signal is what makes a difference. I think the flat thin ones can give bigger signals back at times more than a long one. It's been awhile.

Great video, Russell. Excellent footage and your audio for the video for picking up the detector signals is superb. How does one acquire the rights to prospect? What's a good detector to find gold... what's the cost involved?
If possible can you explain more about your thoughts, like when you said that’s the noise I like to hear, it would be great to understand more about why. To me they mostly sound the same. Also explaining your cool more and your previous detectors and what eventually led you to this coil/detector. Where to buy? Where to search? How to go a out permits etc. I love your videos!!
@TheNuggetMagnet
4 жыл бұрын
Great comment, that noise l liked was a LOW/HIGH signal or an inverted signal as opposed to a HIGH/LOW, a LOW/HIGH indicates a deeper target which is a more exciting dig and normally a larger target, so l know l am about to get some good footage and a nice nugget, hence my favourite noise, the reason for the new coil is later technology, Rohan at Nuggetfinder Coils who l have never met but is always there to help recommended this coil, its 2" wider giving me more depth and with new wiring techniques proved to be super sensitive on the smaller pieces, l get a bit heavy handed with that edit button imagining people just want to see gold, l can start to throw in a bit more info, cheers mate, NM.

@@TheNuggetMagnet I see a lot of miniralization in those places where you diging and explore. Are you tried panning for a micro gold there already? Or check with chemistry like Chlor? Sometimes visible gold is only 1% and in the near a lot of gold in colloidal form. May be, one day you make a video about that...if you have a time. Just for investigations, just for fun. Good luck and stay healthy and safe!
What’s the biggest nugget you’ve found and I’m taking it that the detector is set not to make noise for iron ore !
