Metal Detecting finds Silver & Coins Treasure Hunting Bolsa Chica State Beach 2021
Join me as I metal detect Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, California. I treasure hunt using a Minelab Equinox 800 for Gold and Silver during a low tide where I find very little then I move to dry sand on my way back and find an abundant of amount of coins and some jewelry, including a Mercury Dime.

    Thank you James, I have been back a few times looking for more Silver coins. I love that spider ring, I think I will keep it in my finds bag only to show other detectorist my finds. Lol!

    Nice finds that Merc looks good for being in the sand. They haven't used them ring pulltabs since the late 70s early 80s. Yes i dig it all it's probably a square pull tab.

    Yes, a lucky number as I was on the beach metal detecting fire pits, answered a reply to a comment and noticed 777 subs. The next signal within 15 seconds of noticing the sub count I hit a solid 16 on the Nox. It was a GOLD COIN PENDANT I just could believe what I was looking at in the scoop. My Karma points paid off. Thank you!

    How long does it take for coins to get really crusty on the beach??

    I've noticed on your would you dig it when you switch from your normal beach or park to all metals your vdi numbers are drastically different.

    Yes, all metal mode with high sensitivity will produce negative numbers due to iron rich soil.

    Probably wouldn't dig that choppy sound with a bit of a iron grunt... guessing bottle cap.
