though I had some problem with sea water It also kzread.infoUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Awesome video, keep em coming, love watching your videos. And yes, I have been following you and Relic Recoverist for about 2 years I think.
Because of you, I’m out here in Malibu California every weekend, thanks for the motivation and hobby idea 🙂
Sweet adventure and two fantastic ladies sweet finds and then the rest of the crew fantastic
When I can't get out there, I come to your KZread channel and live vicariously through your metal detecting hunts. Thanks for the vids.
wow..that sunset was nice. I'm taking my family out there for the 1st time there next month...can't wait!
I really like your videos, especially what you see, which are real searches. You should continue with your publications, since it shows how much you like it, and what is done with the heart always flourishes. Greetings from Mexico City. Merry Christmas.
Great finds and looks like a beautiful day for hunting.
love that the AT Max is back lit. The led on the carrot helps too!!! That is my only complaint with my AT Pro. Great video
Those sunset photos ... awesome
Great video, thanks for sharing it.
Those sunset pics were very awesome! Keep up the good work!
Great hunt. Thanks for taking us with you

Great hunt. Great video. The more I watch your videos, the more I miss living in the Treasure Island/Madeira beach area.
Thanks for sharing! Glad you got to detect with Relic Recoverist and part of the Garrett team. They are all such wonderful people! I was recently in Florida in the Tampa area & got to do some detecting. One of my KZread fans asked me if I was going to detect with you. I’ll have to look you up next time I’m in Florida. Happy Hunting & thanks for sharing! ~ Gypsy

She Detector I did find a silver bracelet & my oldest coin ever! I thought it was just a tiny foreign coin & didn’t think much of it at the time , but if you go to my channel you can find the video. Titled: Treasure Island. I’ve been a subscriber to your channel for a long time, keep up the awesome videos. HH! ~ Gypsy
I live across the Tampa Bay from the Clearwater Beach area but it’s crazy but beautiful up there! I find it easier for me at 71 to St. Pete to Indian Rocks beaches. Thanks for your video. Nice variety of finds. Copper stopped 1982 to zinc. The Relic lady needed lots of sunscreen. Fun to see her down here.
Awesome finds!!! 👍👍
This looks like fun!
been going to clearwater beach for the last 20 years fishing.....beautiful
Nice hunt beautiful sunset!! The copper pennies ended in 1982..all pennies 1983 or later are zinkers
1982 was last year for copper memorials. 68 must have been a fresh drop. All the best, Sebastian
Awesome silhouette sunset pic... the first one.... wow
I’m loving the water hunts 👍
I remember that beach from when I came to Florida years ago on a vacation with my sister. We stayed in a rental condo near to the beach. Actually the beach was across from where we stayed. Loved the white sands.🇨🇦🌊⛱
Great show ladies. 😊
Shiver Me Timbers Rrrrrr, where’s the Silver Dollars!!! 🤠 I really dig your digging videos
Enjoyed the video, thanks.

Fun hunt, She Detector. Night hunting on the beach is pretty cool, funwise and temperaturewise.
Enjoyed your Clearwater hunt. I say jewelry but hard to say. The sun set was awesome, God's hidden blessings. Life is good in Clearwater FL. Keep it deep.

*She Detector* I'm a few years late but came across your Metal Detector video today. I think those pieces are jewelry... 4:00 *Awesome* shot with you and the *Sunset*... 🙂
The 1968 penny wasn't corroded because it hasn't been in the water long enough. Just because it's a 1968 coin doesn't mean it's been in the water since 1968! It may have been dropped the very day it was found!
great finds really enjoyed
I used to live on Clearwater Beach, always wanted to detect there, thanks for sharing. My wife lost a watch on Madiera Beach, you might want to detect there. Good Luck!!
Hey newbie and here in Clearwater Fl is there a specific detector you would recommend?
Some good pictures
Just to give you a little clearer idea on the 1968 Lincoln (which is bronze, and is why it held up so well (assuming it was not just a recent drop)) you found - 1982 was supposed to be the last year for bronze pennies, but some of those bronze planchets got made into 1983 Lincolns, and are relatively rare, especially almost 40 years later. 1983 was the first year for copper plated (more of a copper "wash", since the plating is so thin) zinc planchets. It doesn't take much of a scratch for the environment (especially salt environments, like the beach) to get past the thin copper, and start corroding the zinc planchet. It all boils down to the fact bronze planchets cost more than a penny, at that point. For decades the mint has been trying to bring down the production cost of coins, and more than just the penny cost more to make, than their face value. That's why you'll see so many countries that have long since moved on to making most of their coins with a steel core, Canada being the closest example. The U.S. should've ditched the penny and one dollar bill long before now, and many in the government continue to push for that. Speaking of zinc, the U.S. Mint has used it in the past, in regard to Lincoln cents. When they made the steel pennies in 1943 (the war effort needed the bronze), the plated them with zinc to keep them from corroding initially, at least. They can be tough to find detecting as most have either rusted away to nothing in the ground, or they machine just may discriminate them out, depending on your machine and settings. The war effort also needed nickel, which accounts for the "war nickel" years, where U.S. nickels contained 35% silver. The don't hold up very well in the environment, either.
I dont know why she didnt just use a head light, but cool vid!
Awesome, I would like to metal detect a Florida beach some day! Hunting with you would be awesome!
Good videos, I have been out there last Sunday evening an recovered $31.16 in mostly dimes an quarters ,very few pennies, , have you made it to the bridge that goes from cw beach north heading to treasure island direction, there doing some type of work an all the sand an ground is been shuffled around really nicely,????

Hey, which metal detector did you used this day?
Nice hunt. Keep up the good videos
Love the night time hunt and the sunset . They kick us off the beaches here by dark so we are not allowed to hunt at night
So how was the AT Max in the salt water? I thought mine was a little noisy out there in the wet sand. What were your settings and what do you think of the machine?
what coil are you using please?
Those piece are bling for weaves
Do you have any discount codes for Garrett AT Pro from KellyCo ?
I'm moving over that way in a week - buying a metal detector too! :)
.38 special is a commonly carried self defense round. And being in Florida where firearms laws are less restrictive than in other parts of the county, it was not necessarily going to be used in a crime or a suicide. Probably just someone unloading their firearm before going swimming and dropped a couple of rounds. Great video! Thank you for sharing.
You’ll probably find a few things I’ve dropped out there!! Lol spent many years down there!!!
Do you have a video showing how you set up your AT Max for beach detecting? I just got one and I'm having a heck of a time with all the false signal and chattering at the beach here in CA. Would live a video showing full settings and sample tones at the beach. 👍
She Detector, great channel, you should come on the east side of Florida / Georgia, that's where a lot of the Spanish shipwrecks were, you are so good at finding coins. I live in southeast GA and a man here finds very old coins, many worth $1K and above. I would hunt anywhere from St. Augustine up to St. Simon's if you can go, good luck out there!
Thanks for sharing

Awesome!
In another video the guy said to check a little bt futher to the back of the area where people usually place their chairs or towels. He explained that usually when people are getting ready to leave and they are laying down on a towel, they stand up facing the water, turn around and pick up the towel and at that time things are thrown towards the area they are facing. Also, sorry to ask but, what kind of metal detector you are using? I live like 40 minutes away from south padre island. Not one of the best beaches, i would say, but, it would be great to go there early in the morning
Very cool hunting. We miss u.
Definitely one of the best videos on KZread. Congratulations young lady.

Do you MD in the beach parking lots and other areas of town in Clearwater?
She detector rocks! Keep up the good work!
1981 is the last copper cent. 1982 both copper & zinc cents were made. Then all zinc with copper plate
What beach are you detecting at? That ship looks familiar
Cool vid She Detector.

Anything older than 1982. They split the year between copper and zinc. To tell the difference, they have to be weighed out in grains. There are four varieties, large 2 & small 2 of each material-based Penny.
Hi S. D. , I love you're new KZread icon. The western shores of Florida and Michigan produce astounding sunsets that's for sure !!! I've enjoyed your hunts with Joycelyn. It looks like the coins like to come out and play at night. H. H. Dave

The hunt was great to watch until there was no light. Your sunset pictures were beautiful. I just subscribed to Jocelyn's page recently thanks to her collab with AquaChigger. I'm going to subscribe to yours now also. I love metal detecting and history detecting videos!
Heya, She Detector. The two small items that you think are jewelry look very similar to the ones I find on the beach here. I can't be certain but I've found enough of them to consider the possibility that they are part of the fuselage of a bottle rocket.
Hey Girl, is that an AT- PRO your using , they told me it chatters too much to use in salt water?? is this true.
Hola Miss She Detector and Miss Relic Recoverist ♥️

Need a good headlamp. Night time is the best time on those hot summer days. I found that copper will corrode but take much longer. Zinc corroded fast and will be a high tone then Change to a high/mid tone and change as the corrode to a mid tone. The sand sticks to them and they often look like a sand pebble when nearly corroded away.

Oh yes. And I have one! That's the funny part. I just didn't take it. :( Oh really? That's interesting. This must not have been there long. It's in perfect condition.
What is the name of that song at 1:50? I like it, pls
Is there anywhere In Clearwater to rent metal detectors for the day?
What were your setting? Were you on Pro or STD? What was you Iron set at? Just curious, because I just bought the Garrett AT Pro. Good luck!!
Good show, I have found fired and unfired rounds in the places you would least expect. Pocket spill most likely.
US Pennies we’re 95% copper up until 1982. During 1982, half the Pennies were 95% copper, while half were 95% zinc. You have to scratch the penny to see if silver color shows through , if it does then it’s a zinc penny.
Great video. Might wanna stay away from the night video though.
well i enjoyed this video for sure and you found some goodies for sure. yeah at the beach i hunt at night only its cooler and you find just as much or more. sorry you didnt use the head lamp and shaft light i sent you as i swear by them hunting in the dark plus i use my pinpointer and hand scoop. try another night hunt with the lights. then we al can see better. i swear by them. thanks Kay for the video
Top🔝❤❤.👋from Italian metal detecting!!
