AMON AMARTH Announces Biggest North American Headlining Tour To Date With Special Guests Cannibal Corpse, Plus Obituary And Frozen Soul
Following their Summer run crisscrossing the continent with their metal comrades in Ghost, Swedish heavy metal icons AMON AMARTH will return to US and Canadian stages this Spring on the Metal Crushes All Tour 2024 produced by Live Nation; the band’s biggest North American tour to date!
Set to commence on April 21st and run through May 25th, the twenty-four-date journey includes a raid at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver as well as arena stops in Portland, Vancouver, Quebec City, Asheville, Tampa, and Anaheim. Support will be provided by special guests Cannibal Corpse along with Obituary and Frozen Soul making for a must-see heavy metal event of the year! See all confirmed dates below.

One of my favorite bands from the beginning, followed them since the first album. Definitely pioneers in their genre and I'm glad to see them get recognized and also clear more of a path for other extreme metal bands. In my opinion their entire catalog is solid to varying degrees, and their latest one, Great Heathen Army, has got some classics in the making--and a few duds, let's be honest. They put on a cool stage show and inject energy into a genre that could easily collapse under the dead weight of duplicity. Having said that, and this is just my opinion, I can do without the added fluff on tunes like Raise Your Horns, Heidrun... and hope they lighten up on the "hit" singles, so to speak. I selfishly worry they'll become a parody of themselves; and we all know metalheads can be somewhat unforgiving. LOL! There's a fine line between gaining popularity and losing credibility. Let's hope for a killer tour!
I could do without Cookie Monster, I mean Cannibal Corpses, but definetly there for AA.
