Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Miss Pinky!!! I've requested this song on a lot of reactor channels, I suffer from psychosis and chronic depression and can totally relate to the lyrics, being lost in the Badlands is my life story. My promise to myself of "Never Again" regarding attempted suicide came after my dad's suicide in 2003, it's promise that's becoming increasingly harder to keep. I also got to see them open for Metallica following Cliff's death in '86 on Halloween night, it was the 1st time I dropped acid, fun times! Thanks again and Rock On! 🤘

PinkMetalHead My dad was a pot grower and in and out of jail a few times so I went back and forth 'twixt him & my grandparents, he tried to be more a buddy than a dad and spoiled me. He bought me a Les Paul guitar that I never learned to play and a Tama drum kit but he made me take lessons for before buying it...Once Bitten, Twice Shy. LOL! We also went to a lot of concerts, KISS & Triumph was the first one in '78, we also saw Wendy O. and the Plasmatics in Seattle '81, she was my first metal crush, and Metallica/Raven (Kill Em All For One) in Portland, Ore in '83. He was a huge influence on my musical tastes, AC/DC, Sabbath, Judas Priest and The Scorpions were some of his favorite bands but he really ❤️ed The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal of the late 70s, Raven, Iron Maiden, Motorhead etc whereas I went more for the 80s speed/thrash when I started my music collecting.

Other songs i recommend you check out are: Fake Healer, Of Unsound Mind, The Spell Can't Be Broken, The Powers That Be, The Human Factor, Date With Poverty, The Final Word, In Mourning, In Harm's Way, Agent Green, Gods of Second Chance, Losers in the Game, Waiting for a Savior, Down to the River, Reset, Killing Your Time, No Tomorrow and Needle and Suture! I heard you say that you like a song that changes and doesn't repeat itself over and over. Wellllllllll, with that being said, I have a song i would suggest. I actually have quite the list but this would be the one I like to mention first. Theocracy- Mirror of Souls it runs in around 22 minutes long. Non repetitive. My all time favorite song. Phenomenal song with phenomenal lyrics. Try to find the one with the lyrics and the collage video.

Very cool reaction. In the beginning I liked the dreamy guitar, but I knew they had me when the bass drum came it. It's funny cause you just talked about groove in the last video. There was a lot of cool changes that kept the song interesting. I gotta give it up to the drummer though. I'm used to the lead guitarist or singer stealing the show, but for me the drummer was the driving force in this song. I'm interested in hearing more from them. Keep bringing the dope reactions and I'll keep watching.

WHOA! Really! Metal Church :D They have some great songs throughout their career. This is one of my faves! I've walked through those "Badlands" in my life as well. As many have said, be sure to hear their 1st 2 albums with the late-great David "The Reverend" Wayne on vocals (hell, listen to his own band "Reverend" as well). \m/ "Anthem to the Estranged" (also sung by Mike Howe) is a VERY sad song about being homeless, it'll tear at your heartstrings (also see an even more obscure Tech-Thrash band "Toxik", and the track "There stood the fence", another sad one).

I was standing by the nile. When I saw the lady smile. I would take her out for a while. For a while. My tears ran like a childs. How her hair was flowing wild. She spread her wings to fly. For to fly Pink Floyd-nile song. I know the last pink floyd was chill. This has heavy guitar, loud voice. It counts. Hahahah, one day we will revisit pink floyd. :)

Hey Pink! Thank you reacting to Metal Church! You need to react to Gods of Wrath with David Wayne on vocals, the original singer.
