Simply not true. N.O. Joe and later Mike Dean and various others produced for him and the Geto Boys. Scarface had a track here or there.

@@steelliving8785 ok. I was just pointing who was actually credited with the production on his albums. Maybe he was more hands on than other artists, though; I don’t doubt that. Scarface is a unique guy. That said, it’s pretty sick that he got young Mike Dean doing tracks and instrumentals exclusively for him on most of his albums. Only Kanye and Travis can say that in modern times.

The diary is one of the greatest albums of all times for real for real with songs never seen a man cry, hand of the dead body, shit my mind went blank but it has a lot of great songs it's one of those CDs u could play the whole thing.And Scarface is a great story teller and lyricist hell even the song hip hop with him and Nas by dj Khaled is crazy and the song no surrender with him and Jadakiss and John legend and Anthony Hamilton is another crazy joint where he shows his skills and he has a song and video off of his newest CD that is sick I can't remember the name ottomh but it tells a story of him teaching the Shorty's the rules to the game . I'm listing these so maybe someone who isn't familiar with Scarface will check them out and become a fan because he is one of the goats and should get more shine for sure

It's Earth Wind and Fire's Devotion

Scarface is a legend hands down. His name should always be spoken when mentioning the GREATS. This song was simple but very deep and relatable to the the youth then and now, you feel me.

Great song and the original my block from 2pac off of the show soundtrack is one of my all time pac greatest songs that no one seems to know about and I don't mean pacs was the original I mean someone remixed it and it's not near as good as the one on the show soundtrack.

The last verse he's talking about a friend of his that got killed by a cop why they was on tour he shot him in the back in Shreveport Louisiana

Oh man you guys are in for a treat. I was 11 when this song came out. Not quite the listening age or English speaking yet, but I know of American Rap. I always loved rap from the Golden Age. This song was sampled from Earth Wind and Fire's Devotion song. Personally I like scarface better.
