Congratulations on your new position with Embry Riddle. I'd like to thank you on behalf of myself and all the other viewers for your dedication to aircraft preservation and restoration. You will be sorely missed, as evidenced by the BF 108 project being put on hold.

Well said. And to re-iterate "You will be sorely missed........", just can't be emphasised enough. But to think that many 'Paul trained' aircraft engineers will be a new generation of future maintainers and possibly some of those will get into restoration, has a silver lining, we hope.

Weeks is going to have a job finding an articulate presenter who's also a mechanical wizard. Let's hope it's soon, so we can see more of the world's best Bf-108 being assembled. Still, it's good to know that Paul's skills are going to be passed on to new generations of engineers to "Keep 'em Flying". The students will no doubt hear a lot of war stories to supplement their formal knowledge and ground it in reality.

Hi Paul . We're all going to miss you and no one more so than Kermit . But we all know that it takes a special person to teach their skills to others and Paul , you have that skill. And deep down Kermit knows that aviation needs people like yourself . But l'm sure it was with a heavy heart when you both said "au revoire " . ...Congtratulations !

Hi Paul, I wish you all the best for your next job to train and inspire your students. They could not get any better „hands on“ instructor! Your qualities in teaching showed in the presentation of your work, especially in the restoration on the Bf 108 project. These videos are the best restoration information one is able to follow. You are definitely talented to instruct your students in the best possible way. Now the flip side: I hoped the Bf 108 project would carry on , even when you left. That‘s a bit disappointing, but understandable. Sad to see you go, but you have to go where you can follow your dreams. All the best, good luck, Paul. (Maybe Kermit decides to finish the Bf 108 project in the not too far future, so I will be able to watch „your“ project finished in my lifetime.) 👍

Great idea with your move to teaching. Share the knowledge that is being forgotten everyday as people get older and pass on. You have a lot to share and plenty of time to it. Hope there are enough young folks that want to learn. Being almost 70 I still learn new ways, and old, of doing things.

Congrats for Paul -- not for leaving Weeks but for sharing of the skills and knowledge to the next generation of enthusiasts who will walk in his footsteps. Hopefully a course or two can be created to make sure there is another generation who can take to maintain, service and repair the great vintage warbirds we all have a passion for. Hopefully one day a fun Kermit project ends up at Emery Riddle as a credit earned practicum course for the students who will do the restoration work with the supervision of yourself.
