I mean, judging from the fact that he answered skull when she asked who he is, I'm guessing that he was Death. Death's kinda the silent type, and it'd make sense that he wouldn't even talk in his texts, but just use imagery to get his point across.

I liked it, but if I could offer a critique: the banging music took away from the suspense. If you had used a more monotone, low-frequency sound that built up as the video went on, it would have been more effective.

Okay that suspense was so good

Not bad at all. Kind of reminded me of the movie "Unfriended", which I thought was underrated by the way. The sound design was on point and the built up tension was effective.

Have any of you seen "Searching"? It's like Taken meets Unfriended. It is REALLY UNDERRATED AND VERY GOOD. Everyone I've shown it to has said it was incredible.

Watching the typing process is oddly satisfying

It might not be intentional, but the subtlety of her messing up some of the words once it gets a little crazier is a very nice detail. Obviously someone who was flipping out wouldn't be typing perfectly.

The moment the text back was the 👎 emoji I said SHIT then literally jumped out of my bed in fear god damn this was well done

No jump scares. No over the top gore or shock value. Nothing but a text message interaction. Yet I was on the edge of my seat with a building sense of dread and anticipation. And that is true, authentic "horror".

Damn, that was creepy!

Very good. I love the concept of keeping the audience in suspense, just through texts. It worked!

Amazingly original idea! Our phones are so personal, private, almost an additional appendage. Having the killer communicate w the victims gf/wife was so very creepy & horrifying! Well Done!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

If I was the person texting I would've realized that the person was only texting emojis and would've stopped texting immediately and delete the contact immediately so the hacker doesn't track me by using my phone number
