About Artist:
I'm an experimental contemporary artist from Slovenia.
I like to experiment with different fluid art techniques and materials and follow the natural paint flow with all its unpredictability.
The biggest inspiration for my art is Nature, so I try to pour those colour combinations energy and beauty on canvas.
In my early ages I painted with a brushes and chalks, but I always felt limited in those art forms. But all that changed in the year 2018, when I discovered Fluid art. I was able to let my imagination run wild and pour it out on the canvas. I have finally found my place in art that perfects and makes me happy. And what could be nicer than sharing this with others through my artwork. Because of this, I also decided to share my artistic path on youtube, where I am happy to share my passion and knowledge with more than a quarter of a million people from all over the world.
Join me on my Fluid art journey!

It's beautiful Fiona. I loved the extra paint on the right side when you first put down the paint. It looked like a huge "drip" coming from the feather making you wonder what bird the feather could've come from, and the drip maybe symbolizing what bird it may have come from...

Love this stuff! I think I'm going to try some fluid art, mostly because you really have energized me to do so. I've worked with wood for 28 years, and more recently with metal, so I do a lot of wood and metal art that I sell in various galleries around me. Anyway, I was curious what your success to failure % is? Does that make sense? You create some awesome stuff but I know every artist struggles with ideas. I'm taking a good guess that mine is about 30/50/20, meaning 30% of my attempts go in the "hell no" pile, 50% of my attempts are "Okay, I guess I can live with that," and 20% of my attempts are "wow......that's cool.........I kina knocked that one out of the park." :)

I love your guess on success to failure rate is. I've never thought of it this way. I'm thinking I'm probably about the same but keen to improve my numbers 😉

Putting the dots of colors inside the loops of string... What a great idea! Never thought of trying that ~ fantastic! Beautiful & different ~ I really like that alot! Am trying to figure out how thick/thin you mix your paints for this? Seems like it would need to be a little thick to hold up...is that right? Thank you for sharing your talent with us...beautiful art!

Please...what is the clear substance that you put on the strings before laying them down on the painting? That's an incredible effect! Beautiful!

Cool! A long time since the "string pull" fad. I am so happy to be reminded and I am thinking about how I can combine it with other techniques. Actually, I did do one with a 3-D "overlay" yrs ago. Going into studio (😂😅 second bedroom) today. Thanks for the reminder. R U already at PourCon? Stupid me...if so you probably are not looking at these responses...duh. Your tender heart pour into a canvas everytime you mix paint ❤

So fun to watch. Question: At screenshot 13:06 you put some sort of clear substance on the strings. What is that?? silicone oil?

  • @maggiekehoe4614

In the 3rd painting, are you dabbing it with something like penetrol? Maybe the strings are soaked in it as well?
