I know right!? When it comes to humans shifting between masculine and feminine voices, you need to shift the larynx, and changing pitch doesn’t actually makes you sound more masculine/feminine. But here, it works very well!

Thats actually how the Gender slider/G flag work in vocaloid/synthv/utau respectively you can push it up to get a more masculine/mature tone which is how people get haku from miku. or you can push it down to get a cuter feminine tone. it basically just pitches the vocals lower or higher before rendering.
