Mesmerising! US’ largest hand-carved Hindu Akshardham Temple inaugurated in New Jersey
US witnessed the country’s largest hand-carved Hindu Temple ‘BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham’ in New Jersey. ‘BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham’ in New Jersey’s Robbinsville was inaugurated on October 08. Earlier on Oct 08, Prayers were held at ‘BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham’ in Robbinsville, New Jersey. This majestic Mahamandir is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, a Hindu spiritual leader. The construction of this Mahamandir began in 2015 and was inaugurated by Mahant Swami Maharaj, and dignitaries
The Temple in Robbinsville is spread across 185 acres, and over 12,500 volunteers were involved in the construction. Some volunteers left their jobs and dedicated themselves to the construction of the temple. The current Guinness Record holder for the world’s largest comprehensive Hindu temple is the ‘BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham’ in New Delhi. The ‘BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha’ has built about 1,400 temples in India, the UK, US, Canada, Kenya, South Africa, and Australia.

@@saewha clearly shows you know nothing about Sanatana. Sanatana does not come with a single handbook like Islam or Christianity. It's a collection of thoughts. People are free to think but there core principles are same.their thought process is slightly different from mine. They believe in गुरु ब्रह्मा गुरु विष्णु गुरु देवो महेश्वरा। गुरु साक्षात परम ब्रह्मा तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः ।। which is a Sanatani thought. Big or small they worship Lord Krishna and Lord Rama in those temples and that's fine by me. What you consider mockery is simply a belief system.

It's a Hindu Dharma, devotees get popular than the god of gods they worship. God of Gods lies in our soul. See God of Gods Vishnu or Shiva in devotee. Don't question it.

@@monisingh771 गुरु ब्रह्मा गुरु विष्णु गुरु देवो महेश्वरा। गुरु साक्षात परम ब्रह्मा तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः ।। This is a Sanatani thought so logically this makes sense if they do it that way. Remember they are not disrespectful towards gods. This idol thing is mostly a north Indian belief but what you need to understand that there are 100s of schools of thought in sanatan and unlike Islam where shia is kafir for Sunni and Sunni for shia we don't call them non Sanatani. We have always supported logic and have agreed to disagreed. Different statue size does not make them any less Sanatani than me by the principles of sanatana.

@@sarathkannaya7487 well said. This is the dharma where love is worshipped. Where the relation of a mortal and divine is so strong that on many occasions gods have suffered the wrath of their mortal devotees like Krishna and Gandhari. It's a relation of love not fear or competition.
I was there during this inauguration of Mahamandir (Akshardham). Feel proud as an Indian.
