Bro, I usually don’t comment on videos, but this was exceptional. I watched your cover of “All Out Life” from Slipknot and immediately thought, “I wonder if he tried “Bleed.” You did and nailed it. This song is a nightmare on all instruments, especially the drums. I wish people understood exactly how difficult this song really is. Not just the constant, insane bass patterns, but the ghost snare with odd timed cymbal accents amongst all the chaos. You earned yourself a subscriber dude. Good job.

Thank you for playing the whole song!! It seriously bothers me when people post a "cover" of Bleed and it's only half the song. If you didn't cover the full 7 minutes, you didn't cover it if you ask me. One of the biggest reasons this is one of THE songs to play on the drums is endurance. Playing only the first half of the song only shows half the endurance. You played the whole thing and made it look almost easy, awesome video. 🤘

Hey, have you found anyway to make the snare sound like Joey Jordison's snare in the first album? Also, how do you get the hi hat to constantly be closed and why didn't you use the other pad for it instead?
@sodamlazy
8 жыл бұрын
+Chase Gardner Nope haven't specifically tried that, maybe in a future Slipknot cover! The hi-hat works like a real acoustic hi-hat/stand and you can lock it in any position. And yea it would've been fine either way but my intention was to make the setup similar to Haake's!
@ZandrielGrimm
8 жыл бұрын
A big reason I asked is cos I'm planning on getting a TD25KV and I wanna know if it's possible. I actually didn't know you could lock a hi hat in a position. This is news to me. I've never used a real hi hat before lol Only hi hat I've ever had was my cheap e-drum's.

@@Midaspl Depends on if you have the money. If you don't, a td25kv will probably do just fine, but keep in mind that upgradeability is more limited and the bass drum pad that comes with it is kinda bad, because it wobbles around too much. The hit detection is perfectly fine, but you gotta use some solid grippy pedals along with it. Or upgrade to the td30 pad which on it's own costs another couple hundred bucks. After all there is a workaround for most of the problems on cheaper kits.

Rubem Evangelista The Pattern at 2x is completely lost. And so is the groove given by the constant and relatively slow crash/snare

Wish I could have that electronic drum.

Hugo Aragón sadly, it does not. That's why it showed up when the song paused.
Great cover and thanks for your awesome charts i've downloaded a bunch of them! Oh btw what bass pedals are those my own broke so i need to buy new ones haha

Finally i've seen perfect cover of Bleed :D AMAZING, you should make a cover of Hate - Erebos ;)
This is sickkkkkk ;)
Hey, have you found anyway to make the snare sound like Joey Jordison's snare in the first album? Also, how do you get the hi hat to constantly be closed and why didn't you use the other pad for it instead?
@sodamlazy
8 жыл бұрын
+Chase Gardner Nope haven't specifically tried that, maybe in a future Slipknot cover! The hi-hat works like a real acoustic hi-hat/stand and you can lock it in any position. And yea it would've been fine either way but my intention was to make the setup similar to Haake's!
@ZandrielGrimm
8 жыл бұрын
A big reason I asked is cos I'm planning on getting a TD25KV and I wanna know if it's possible. I actually didn't know you could lock a hi hat in a position. This is news to me. I've never used a real hi hat before lol Only hi hat I've ever had was my cheap e-drum's.
You're so fucking brutal you even murdered a banana.
If you want to try this song, here is the drumless track: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pZZ5qrxmms3UZqQ.html Good luck! 😂
I aspire to accomplish this level of bass pedal badassery.
looking forward to a nostrum

Hi, may I ask how you've connected your roland drumkit to the game? It looks like guitar hero but I'm definitely not shure about. I'm looking forward hearing from you
@sodamlazy
8 жыл бұрын
Hey man, actually it's not connected to the game. It's possible but the 7 lane "Real Drums" mode is more complicated. I just use these like drum tabs!
What is the program than you use?
Хорошо играл!!!
When charting these, do you look at the actual sheet music or is it all by ear?
@sodamlazy
8 жыл бұрын
Mostly by ear yea, live videos are sometimes helpful!
Love your work man, check out some Persefone or The Faceless, Ingested, bands like that, solid challenges and plenty of fun to be had with basically anything in their catalogues, enjoy

Cheers man, sure I'll check them out, I actually got a couple of Persefone videos already!
Hey, Lazy! For Metallica, are you going through album by album? if that's the case, please do Fade to Black. it's one of my favorites!!! Thanks man!!
Anymore Meshuggah to come?
This shit is bananas
Nice cover! What pedal beaters are those?
Do you create the charts from scratch, or convert the MIDI data from your v-drums to chart form?
@sodamlazy
6 жыл бұрын
I create the chart first and then learn the song by playing along the chart!
Props to you fucking playing this song note for note and everything I could never play this song not in a million years my double bass sucks
Which twin pedal do you use
That kit?? Did you build it yourself or is there a model number i can look up? Very nice work!

Holy shit! 10k USD?! Is it worth it?
@Allahpaca
5 жыл бұрын
@@Midaspl Depends on if you have the money. If you don't, a td25kv will probably do just fine, but keep in mind that upgradeability is more limited and the bass drum pad that comes with it is kinda bad, because it wobbles around too much. The hit detection is perfectly fine, but you gotta use some solid grippy pedals along with it. Or upgrade to the td30 pad which on it's own costs another couple hundred bucks. After all there is a workaround for most of the problems on cheaper kits.
What double pedal do you use ??
I am the 666th like...bow to me
Dude all your covers are good but this shit is next level. I rate myself as a half decent drummer but you look superhuman man😂 great job. I'm liking this for the banana as well though.
