"One day my producer asked me to listen to a couple of his beats," Mervin says. "The music came on to a song without a name, and I said, ` yoooo, that's gonna be my song.' I said specifically, `Bro GOD DID IT!' Instantly I asked him to send it to me. The music by itself, was inspiring. I received the music via email later that night and immediately began writing the words to the song. It took me no more than five minutes to write the entire song to which I actually had already named without even knowing it. This song is self-explanatory to me because everything that I have and everything I've achieved in Life is not by my own strength but of the Power of Him, the Great I AM who created me. When it comes to my beautiful wife and children, I can say: GOD DID IT!" When it comes to my ability to preach the Word of God and sing Gospel Music, I can say: GOD DID IT!" and when it comes to me being a Police Officer who works in the school system charged with mentoring and protecting kids, I can say: GOD DID IT!"

God told me to retire from my job after 18 years and told me to do health care for elders to stay in their home I've been doing this for 3 years now I truly love to see a smile on someone's face knowing that I made they day in the family on God please you somewhere you can't go wrong won't God do it🎉🎉🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I am a singer and when I hear a song like this!!! It moves me!!! I have struggled over years with singing Gospel or R&B . This song is what I could do if I was just gospel and be myself and for filled with in the God in me. I love R&B it’s me. I’m not always a gospel singer like a Leandrea type but I can hold my own especially when the spirit takes over. But my Brother God did it!!! With this song he used you something awful when you wrote this song. I would love to work with you on a song but if I never have the opportunity I will be working to have this kinda mix in my songs especially if God takes my music to a gospel inspirational type of sound this is it!!!
