yeah I like that to. I'm getting so sick of a protagonist or however whoever is clearly stronger in a fight taking it easy on whoever else just to advance the plot and I'm not saying I don't love the triumph but still enough is enough, come up with an actual reason the character is holding back his power like it's been sealed or any valid excuse that fits the genre.

he literally had one fight with an opponent who could even scratch at his super op level and with two openings he didn't move in for the kill and in both instances, he was ready to actually end the battle to talk a little more. in every other instance, he was like a child crushing ants (notice the irony of an ant-creature crushing humans?) until he randomly changed his entire persona during his games and that fight.

Meruem: The "villain" who never met the protagonist in the entire story arc.

I JUST REALIZED! Netero never used his right arm and left leg when he was playing get the ball against Killua and Gon for the very first time. It's fact, and Killua stated that. Netero looses his left arm and right leg when fighting Meruem and his right arm and left leg were the last ones remaining! Maybe Meruem noticed this detail and that's why he choose to take off those limbs first as they are Netero's dominant? Togashi is a genius.

Wouldn't it be the exact opposite? Meruem took off the less dominant limbs because those were easier to take? And that way Netero was giving Gon and Killua a bigger handicap by not using his dominant limbs.

+Breno Costa Well, the rose bomb would've stopped it eventually. They basically alluded to the fact that the setting they're in has reached their version of the atomic age, so they'd just have to nuke them. The only reason Netero even bothered with the fight was to buy time for evacuation and to draw Meruem to a place where it'd cause less casualties, with both the blast and the fallout. The end part of this arc was pretty heavy on how far humans would go to prevent their own extinction. Even if it meant nuking their own people and making areas unlivable.

This is probably one of the best HxH amv’s I’ve seen, and Meruem is my favorite villain from this series. He’s actually one of the best villains I’ve seen in any show. Also did anyone else notice the arm and leg Meruem took were the same ones Netero didn’t use for his ‘game’ with Gon and Killua in the beginning of the series? Why was this anime so good!? LacrimosaSama omg the feels ;-;. The whole plot of the chimera ant arc just blew my head off! how it kept building higher and higher,the tension,excitement,etc all in one arc. And when I found out the true story behind that ending...my heart literally stopped. It actually made me cry,thx Togashi...for being such a great master mind.

Every creature borns as innocent and then becomes either good or evil . Meruem born as most evil creature and died as a sensible character who changed seeing good things in humans . This character development alone made Hunter x Hunter my most favorite anime and raised my standards so high that i cant enjoy most of the anime anymore as i expect same level of logics and seriousness from every anime now.

@@nzbg1132 yep, definitely HxH is one of best written series out there. Sure take your time, durarara is also one of my favorite. It has 2 season, and 2nd season it self has 3 cours (shou, ten, ketsu) Total 60 eps combined from all season. While monogatari is about 96 eps in total + 3 movies, but you need to do research before starting monogatari in order to watch them correctly.

A física dessa luta é muito boa, os movimentos em câmera lenta e o tempo de reação da uma dinâmica muito realista para a velocidade que eles estão se movendo. Com certeza tem um pouco de estudo sobre a mecânica dos fluidos para fazer essas cenas.

So many never realized Meruem's a Specialist-Nen-User and overly-mature, contrary to his mothers belief. Hence the whole "I dont want you to be born yet!" and "Shut up. I'm born when i feel ready:' Situation. Meruem missed out on making his own Hatsu, and the same goes for many Fans. Missing out on the Fun.
