The Cat Came Back is a 1936 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Friz Freleng. The short was released on February 8, 1936. I have tried to combine the best elements to reproduce this to make it look as authentic as I could. I Do NOT own this video. For Educational and Historic purposes only

Oh my gosh what a cute and adorable little cartoon, I love it.
1930s animated short films with animals are so adorable! Even the kittens and mice in this cartoon are adorable!

This short should have gotten a sequel the following year. It should have been called “Little Kitten and Little Mouse’s City Adventure”.
