My name is Mariel, and I started getting into fashion in the past few years and am learning so much about it. Perfect outfits! The aesthetic feels like a summer version of whimsigoth. You can even sneak in a lot of the same celestial elements.

I agree! I feel like mermaidcore, whimsigoth, and fairycore all give off similar vibes (flowy, romantic, ethereal) so its easy to mix and match them!
As a pisces, I really want to live out my mermaid dreams but I wonder how this style would look in the cooler seasons (fall/winter) Thanks for the inspo!

Yeah it’s definitely an aesthetic geared more towards warmer weather but it would be interesting to try to come with winter mermaidcore outfits!

i love your videos sm! i'm super curious on how many clothes you have though, and how much do you need to have a wardrobe where you don't repeat outfits every two days haha

I definitely repeat outfits all the time lol. I always try to buy clothes i can wear in multiple outfits and multiple aesthetics and mix & match! Maybe i can do a closer tour video one day 🥰
