i HATE how her destiny was just to be evil, i absolutely hate how nobody believed in her or gave her a chance. she was just evil, dangerous, a bad person.

It’s honestly so sad what happened to Morgana. Had Gaius or Merlin helped her when she had first discovered she had magic, or even explained the nightmares, she probably wouldn’t had such a better fate. The only person that was really on her side was her sister, who was evil. Well, not exactly evil, but led her down the wrong path. She went through so much, and it could’ve easily been avoided.

there is darkness and light in everyone. Everyone kept morgana in the dark tbh. so the moment she saw a light source (morgause) ofc she'd follow her. they say "in the land of the blind, the one eyed is king." Merlin was too much in the "light" and ended up denying that darkness have to exist in people too. Both Merlin and Morgana were acting in the extremes tbh. Life shouldnt be a matter of light/dark or good/evil because such things do not naturally exist in nature. There is always a balance, a grey area. But to them it's black and white. Both of them have emodied "there is no other way" "i had no choice" kind of mantra. BBC Adventures of Merlin a sad tale of not offering compromise and not understanding each other's humanity anymore. For this i blame kilgharrah, gaius and morgause. They mentored the two into unbelievably strong bioweapons into thinking that they alone were each in the Right.

People are blaming Merlin about Morgana turning evil , while forgotting that merlin also had a tough life growing up and still chose to do good, while Morgana grew up in riches and with a slight challenge chose evil without a second thought.

I hate how Morgana was mistreated and betrayed by Merlin (&Gaius,…)on an assumption of her destiny. She hadn’t even done anything but was judged for acts she didn’t commit. By betraying her it snapped inside her and she lost her trust in people. I do think that she coulve been „saved“ even pretty late. With Aithusa it did show that she still had a heart, that she could still care( besides Aithusas looks represented Morgana) She also cared about Mordred a lot and I think his betrayal, Emrys reveal and mordreds death drove her over the edge at last. I really would’ve loved to see a character arc of her after Merlin’s poisoning in season 4 or even 5. I also guess that is one of the messages of the show: to not judge someone by prejudice, accusations & merits that were not committed. So called „Destiny“ is made of choices. Choices that other people influence a great deal. Eg.: Gaiuses blunt lying about her magic, Merlin’s betrayal and uther not acknowledging her as his rightful daughter did cause her to act the way she did.
