I am choking Merthur were so freaking canon and they never got the happy ending they deserved and they mean SO MUCH TO ME even through all these years and I love that you vid them still and I can watch this MASTERPIECE and I'm all worked up with emotion now :( that ending was just so beautiful and sad and you so very captured the bittersweet of their relationship :(((( 2:31 had me aching

I used to listen to other videos of Merlin like this one with songs like All I Want, The Night We Met, and Hurts Like Hell, but I like to watch that one with morgana and Merlin tho. And every time I listen to those songs if they come on randomly on my music playlist, I’m just overcome with sadness and grief. Even though it’s a sad feeling, it’s still a beautiful feeling to have because of their friendship🙂

I don't know why I do this to myself. It's 2019. Haven't watched the show for ages. And yet here I am, watching this amazing fanvid for the nth time. Why is the show and this ship so freakin' compelling?!? *cries forever* because apparently Merthur feelings are still in my heart...

after all the comedy in Merlin, the parody, the crack videos, the scene where Arthur dies and Merlin is uncounsable is one of the best acted scenes that I have ever seen, it can be compared to some really classics love films. Very underrated

Methur is not romantic It is not platonic It is something far far stronger than that It is a bond that will stand the test of time and even death Because Merlin and Arthur have such a strong relationship that nothing will break it

these words fit Arthur talking to merlin so well, he says he is sorry, for being mean and now, he finally knows who merlin is, and that magic isn't evil, then ending still breaks my heart

You know the scene where Arthur hugs Merlin and he’s like ‘I thought we lost you!’ That’s such a pure scene and every time I see it, i cry. Side note: the last thing that Arthur saw was Merlin’s eyes. Have a nice day😭

I’m in a circle of pain. The ending is just so sad that I have to rewatch the happier episodes but then I get addicted again and I have to watch it to the end but then there’s the pain again making me start all over.

This is so sad. I just finished the last Episode.. I *NEED* a Season 6 even though Arthur is dead I'm just not ready to let this amazing show go :( I wanna know how Merlin's life goes after Arthur died. I m gonna cry they had such a bittersweet realationship. Damn what a beautyful bromance....

100% my thought process for this video, not even gonna lie

Every time I think the pain of this series becomes more bearable, I stumble upon beautiful videos such as these, and suddenly the cuts I thought had scabbed over opens up again.

It's 2021 and I'm still not over them. Fantastic vid!

I have so much love for this video. Like I love a good Merthur AU for the melodrama but there is always the sadness that to make a good ship video for them you have to embellish the canon - but this video beautifully shows how very canon their feelings for each other were and how valid there are as a ship despite never actually getting together because it's so in character for them to not admit their feelings. It's a canon fact that Arthur avoids admitting his feelings when he knows it can't go anywhere because it hurts him too much, and as much as he's talking about Gwen in that scene it speaks to how he handles all his feelings. The shows ending is so heart breaking but also so frustrating because it never acknowledged what this video does - that despite never actually admitting their feelings they were completely in love, and rather than just being frustrated at the writers queer baiting and refusing to follow through I can enjoy a well structured tragic love. This video made it possible for me to watch the finale again. Thank you.

Actually the creators of Merlin wanted to make Merlin and Arthur a couple which is why they have such powerful romance between them especially in the beginning and why out of no where they seem to being having feelings for other people, but BBC wouldn't allow Merthur to happen bc it is gay

I am watching Merlin with my sibling and when we first watched this video, I was in tears. It's so beautiful, the editing, voice over, the song choice and the clips, too. I've gotten so emotional, bloody hell. I'm scared of watching Merlin cause I already know what's going to happen T_T

Truly two sides of the same coin. Soulmates. I sometimes imagine Merlin as a woman and wondered what would have happened if that were the case. Or if Merlin decided to help Morgana or if Kara decided to accept Arthur's second chance. Merlin and Arthur have a unique bond that is irreplaceable and will never again be seen in other shows and books.

I cry like every few months. Now I'm drowning in tears. Thanks. I actually only am in season 4 because I am too afraid to watch till the last episode
