I’ve seen a lot of ‘Arthur returns’ videos but they always seem to take the angle of him returning as himself, armor and all. I thought he would be reincarnated into someone new, so this video plays with that a bit. He’s still the ‘chosen one’ but this war is different… Also, minor Gwaine/Percy.
Summary:
In a future world decimated by nuclear war, two groups remain. The ones focused on creating a bright future and making the most of what's left behind, and those who oppose them. A group that believes in a new world order of survival of the fittest. While Percy and Gwaine work in their makeshift hospital treating the wounded, Arthur speaks out over the radio to all reaches giving them the strength to keep fighting. Merlin and his friend Kyle overhear one such broadcast, and Merlin knows immediately that this is his Arthur. They want to find him. The home-base of the resistance is a well guarded secret, but they track someone down who knows where it is. When Merlin is presented to Arthur they hit it off right away. Merlin helps reveal a traitor in their midst, and they must prepare for a full scale invasion. Arthur tells Gwen that he thought he would never love again, but Merlin has changed that, and he believes in love again. Arthur and his main force guard the front entrance of their tower while Gwaine and Percy and their troops guard the rear. They bombard the hoard of men baring down on them with a catapult from the top of the tower. They fight their hardest, but they are outnumbered, and they begin to be overrun. That's when a force, a whirlwind sweeps through the battlefield killing every enemy it touches. When it comes to a stop, it's revealed to be Merlin.
