Out there sick as a dog gettin them pay days for the band members. A great bandleader, a great song writer, a great musician , a gteat singer and most of all a great man. Mr Merle Haggard.

Went and seen Ben and Noel in Vegas at the Tropicana 4- 29-17. They were "Top Gun". I cant even imagine what they are going through missing their dad. What an incredible person you were Merle and we all miss you. Hope I see you someday, If there is a heaven, I hope I make there to see you and shake your hand

The legend Merle Haggard!
I had the joy of seeing merle live a few years ago, and he was a great entertainer, despite the fact he was in his late 60s-early 70s at the time.
Thank you so much for this! For all of these you posted, so helpful to me and my siblings who are just still trying to cling to that man!! Been very painful for us as it has for many others...
One of my favorite Merle tunes for sure. Merle released this dandy back in 1982 on his album titled, "Going Where The Lonely Go".

This is 2 Months before Mr Merle passed away. This had to been Hard for Ben, Noel Lee & The Strangers to see Him going down So Fast. BLESSINGS TO ALL OF YALL.

Lord I miss Merle so much.
You can tell Merle was having a hard time breathing, even with oxygen..he was pretty proud of his son Ben that's for sure. So hard to see him in such a poor physical state,,But what a trooper he was!!
