I respectfully disagree with you about Hop. Hop isn't the greatest rapper, but he's one of the greatest rappers in my honest opinion. His verse on this wasn't super wordplay heavy, but it was still solid. It wasn't his craziest verse I heard by him on chief. Fiddacts! Merk got busy. He's a fire rapper as well.

Did you watch the whole video, or in your feels before you could make it to the end of the video? He CLEARLY says that He liked Merkules verse, and that Hopsin has the TECHNICAL ability to rap, but his writing sucks. Which, if you listen to A LOT of different hip hop, its difficult to argue against that. He can flow, and rapping is actually really good, but his writing and bars are subpar, at times corny, and uninspired. Like, take all the bad attributes from bad Eminem songs, and you have Hopsins blueprint. Like Jay z said, do you fools listen to music, or skim through it? To be a legit Hopsin fan, you have to skim through it. Being able to rap, doesn't make you a good writer...just like having tons of bars, and wordplay from being a battle rapper doesn't mean you will make good records.

Hopsin hater? He saying things, you just don't understand it. It's ok not everyone is supposed to like everyone. Not liking someone is one thing but I think you're way passed the hater line.

After watching this, I think I understand how Michelle Show rates rappers. Put the beat and the cadence aside and take only the lyrics. Now, assume you said those same lyrics to your guys on the block in regular conversation. If you'd get a reaction like: "that's real", "that's cold", "that's dope", "that's hard"; and it's like that on a consistent basis, he rates you high. On the other hand, if the response would be more like: "that's corny", "that's goofy", "that's wack", "stop playin"; then he doesn't rate you. Not saying I agree, but I think I've cracked the code. It's funny cause it's probably where people should have started him, so many of the shit they've suggested of Hops is the really trash stuff he's put out. Honestly pretty much all of Hops new stuff is trash in the first place, his older shit back when he was telling a story and making tracks that got him excited were actually pretty decent. Ill Mind 5, 6 and 7, Killin my Soul, Sag my Pants, Hop is Back, I Need Help, hell pretty much anything from Raw.
