The Merida ninety six counts as one of the best cross country fully on the market. The current edition extends the range of use somewhat. Especially in downhill, the Merida ninety six has become much more potent and thus effortlessly masters challenging trails. The rear provides 96mm travel and the front 120mm travel for comfort and safety. The frame has mounts for 2 bottle cages and another mount under the top tube for attaching spare tube and tools.
We built this Dream Build bike with the best parts from Manitou, Answer, Ringlé and Hayes brands. Almost all screws have been replaced with noble titanium screws, tuning in detail.

Das Merida ninety six zählt als eines der besten Cross Country Fully am Markt. Die aktuelle Ausgabe erweitert den Einsatzbereich etwas. Gerade im Downhill ist das Merida ninety six wesentlich potenter geworden und meistert damit mühelos anspruchsvolle trails. Der Hinterbau stellt 96mm Federweg zur Verfügung und an der Front sorgen 120mm Federweg für Komfort und Sicherheit. Der Rahmen besitzt Aufnahmen für 2 Flaschenhalter und eine weitere Aufnahme unterm Oberrohr zur Befestigung von Ersatzschlauch und Werkzeug.
Dieses Dream Build Bike haben wir mit den besten Teilen der Marken Manitou, Answer, Ringlé und Hayes aufgebaut. Annähernd alle Schrauben wurden durch edle Titanschrauben ersetzt, Tuning im Detail.

In my case, I have a Manitou R7 pro 2021, which I really loved, at first I had many doubts when buying it because there is very little information from users who have tried it. At first I liked the technology that was implemented in the suspension system and it is also cheaper than RS and Fox and I decided to buy it. After many km I can say that I do not regret it, it is very stiff, I come from fox performance 32 and it is much more rigid than this and its operation is much better in general, it has three positions, open, trail and closed, the closed mode, It's really closed, it doesn't sink at all, I use it for asphalt climbs, as for the open one it's wonderful, it has its own dial where you can adjust it to your liking. Maybe the aesthetics can throw someone off (I love it) and the weight, mine is 1635gr against position, you can adjust it from 80mm to 120mm simply by adding or removing spacers that come with the fork, I have it at 110mm on a hardtail and I love it. I have also tried the SIDs with the race day cartridge and I can tell you that much of the work has to be done by the arms, also this cartridge ends up breaking sooner or later I have already seen several damaged ones that have to be changed, I don't know if Rockshox has improved it.

Das Bike ist überraschend schwer mit über 11Kg ohne Pedale. Dazu in manchen Details ( Steuerrohr mit Plastikzugführungsdeckel, und Schrumpfschlauchnummer für Schaltzughülle/Bremsleitung, dazu der Bastelflaschenhalter am Sitzrohr) eher ziemlich hässlich. Ansonsten stimmiger Aufbau.
