Meredith Webber at HHS North receives Superintendent's Award

When you walk into Meredith Webber’s classroom, you know right away that there has been intentional work done to build a positive, respectful, and collaborative classroom community. When you talk to Meredith, you hear the passion she has for her work, the love she has for her kids, and the commitment she has to growing and refining her practice. Meredith is a fourth year teacher; her resume is already very impressive. She is the Westfield Promise English teacher, she is a member of the ILT, she has established the Community Closet to support our students, she is a member of the block curriculum planning team and she is a member of the MyCap Planning team. She takes feedback and turnkeys it in the next lesson, she uses data from looking at student work to drive her instruction, and she is always willing to step up to help out when needed. Finally, it is clear that she is a true role model for her students. She has inspired several of our future teachers for two years in a row to become an educator. Meredith is a rockstar and HHS North is lucky to have her on the team.
