Something about this song is so calming. I recently ran at a big track meet and felt horribly anxious, my heart was beating out of my chest, my breathing was way too fast and my body felt heavy. I tried everything to calm down but nothing was helping so I laid down and decided to listen to music and played this song. It almost instantly helped me relax and breathe. finding out JID did the other vocals warms my heart. Love his talent paired with Mereba's angelic voice and sound and her talent in writing.
He has said in interviews that with so many siblings they showed him loads of different music so I wouldn't doubt he would know a thing or two about singing and not just rapping. This is so beautiful though.
