I think they will make ga 1.8-2 second cooldown and either make the base healing 50 with a 20% increase below half health (regular healing below half will be 60hps and in valk it will be 72 hps) or they make her regular healing 55hps again and have the 50% increase below half health apply only to Valkyrie. They also said they might take a look at bringing back valks constant regeneration

They said it was overcorrected so I’m betting it’ll either be 1.8 or 2 seconds next season rather than the clunky mess it is now. They’ll almost certainly nerf the crit heals or get rid of them entirely. If they totally remove it though, they better just give us a full revert on the GA nerf altogether.

@@razrv3lc I don’t think they said it was overcorrected. Pretty sure what they called out was the loss of synchrony with the other timings in her kit. CrystalRaine suggested a cooldown reset for Res, and Alec said that was the kind of thing they were looking at doing for Mercy. So, I am anticipating a Res cooldown reset and maybe an adjustment on the beam linger time, so that Mercy can more easily follow her target with the prefer beam/facing target settings.

@@Slxinq ever since mercy’s Valkyrie rework, mercy has had constant regeneration in Valkyrie. This means that while mercy was in Valkyrie, she would receive a constant 20-30 hps for the duration of Valkyrie that could not be interrupted. For reference, zenyattas harmony orb heals 30 healing per second

Out of curiosity, I’m Diamond 2 as a mercy and kiriko player, but I was wondering how you’re able to tell if someone is dead, and to just try to escape or stay with them.

And they say mercy healing is bad. I'm just so excited for ga cool down to be lower they could take away damage boost and I would be FINE

The deaths on the second round make sense, they complain about mercy heals and then focus you down. Add to that your second healer can't really help being zen.

May I ask, what do you do/play when another player picks mercy before you and does not want to switch?

I think perhaps keeping the crit heals as they are, maybe even increasing it to 100% boost or more but also making it only apply for the first second of two of healing. This would help triage critical allies, bouncing the heal beam around your team but preventing that pocket of a critical ally who just can't die like an Orisa. Edit: And perhaps if too strong, lower it to your ally being below 25% hp or something instead of just the below 50 we have now.

i really like the critical heals mercy has. it feels like she can actually keep up a teammate (who can still die btw!!) instead of just getting three shot by a cassidy in 2 seconds.

Who do you normally play when someone takes mercy from you?

i dont play on ps but on pc holding down the space bar which is her jump makes her descend slowly and then when GA cooldown ends i press it and repeat the process so maybe holding down whatever button u use for jump on ps will be the same ^_^

on playstation you can stay in the air like this too lol it’s easy, just press GA and then press O to launch yourself in the air or you can press triangle if you wanna slingshot instead of fly

i also wanna note that this “flying playstyle” with mercy is really effective with dodging enemies on the ground that are out of your reach BUT it is also very dangerous and puts you in the line of sight of the enemy hitscans and makes an easy kill for heros like widow/ashe etc, soldier, so check for the enemy team and see what heros they have. like for example you see how zhau is flying behind cover to stay out of soldier’s line of sight, so in a way you have to make a balance of when to GA and when not to GA, one wrong movement gets you killed

Hold L2 to stay airborne longer, drop slower.

How do you ga on an ally that is not currently receiveing heal/ dmg? I always need to stop beaming to jump to another ally

With the guardian angel setting "Prefer beam target" you will always guardian angel to your beam target. Maybe you use this setting? I like to use the guardian angel setting "Prefer facing target" with this setting my guardian angel will target whichever ally I am facing unless I am not facing an ally in which I will guardian angel to my beam target. Hope this helps! ♥

Zhau i was watching your videos preseason 3 mercy, its just unfun now watching knowing that a mercy can outheal all 5 enemy heroes, like everyone can win being pocketed by mercy. Thats the whole game now
