Mercusys comes with MIMO technology,so if you connect more than one device for simple use or even for gaming there will be no issues,it has better external antennas & coverage than tplink. // But if you want to connect wired devices,like PC. Only for that choose Tplink,it has a external LAN port.

Is mercusys extender working good

The reason it didn’t connect from wps is because you are supposed to configure it near the main router. Once it’s configured then you have to place it where you want the range to be extended.

Yes bro i know & I've put it near router,but at the time of recording it didn't connect. After some days i tried again & it worked.

I've been trying for alot of times and for some reason it tells me '''no internet, secured'', isn't it supposed to connect directly?

hi can you pls clarify one thing, once we pair this extender and keep it in the hall, i move from bedroom where my primary router is kept, how does my mobile connect to this extender, will it still be connected to primary router or do i need to select mw network id to change network, its confusing how the phone will switch signals from primary to range extender in another room.

If you have already saved both SSID of router & extender than don't worry mobile will automatically select the nearby device ID. If your mobile is not that smart then you have to select the ssid separately.

One question bro, does the wifi extender signal is strong enuf to transmit beyond walls? I have a hall, kitchen and then bedroom where the main router is kept, two walls in between i.e bedroom and kitchen are reducing the signal in the hall, if i keep this extender in hall, will it be able to catch the signal or should i increase my bandwidth from 25 to 50 will that work? The signal in bedroom is good -40db but in hall it becomes -78db too much loss

Which device you have connected with it? Wifi router or mobile hotspot ? (Try to factory reset extender then reconnect it)

Its pairing is not dependent on the service provider, It depends on hotspot device or router. So if you have device that provides wireless wifi network,this extender will work with that. (*As per my thinking)

It depends on your usage, whether you want to connect only wireless devices OR you also want to connect wired devices that far from main router.

Got it ! I need it mainly for laptop and for TV . So I would opt for Mercursys only cause the TP-Link ones are costly like in TP-Link extender's cost price I can buy both a lan cable and a router too 😂

bad one i used it go with tplink

Never buy this product I have used it and returned it to Amazon since it reduces your Internet Speed to half. My 40 Mbps connection came down close to 20 Mbps even when it was placed close to the wireless router. I have tried different location but it never works.

I appreciate your comment,&can understand your problem. As it's a electronic device it may delivered faulty. In my case i have tried with different routers with different speed,i haven't face this kinda problem.
