I've been using Edict's Aim crossbow since it reloads automatically. Dervla's crossbow uses a lot of ammo, but it's a good choice. Both weapons melt bosses, so it's really just personal choice. I like the double Jefferies dagger option, so I'll be using that going forward. Thanks for the build guide!

Well this is an interesting build. I personally never used bows/crossbows in Lords Of The Fallen. Just goes to show that bows/crossbows can be powerful in their own way.

My first foray into use them here too - very fun when you hit a rhythm!

If you dont want to start ng+ for second Jefreey's Dagger, I highly recommend to do horned skull quest and upgrade it to +10

Love the build was using the Edict CB in a run and really liked it. Want to try the bow version of this. Why the infantry bow over the mutilated bow? I assume two stat that scale to B is better than D+ and A- and the a higher base damage? Thxs

Yo! Glad you're enjoying it. I haven't got much experience with the Edict. I'll check it out! Re: bow. I'm not an authority on the maths on this but that assumption you made is what I tested too. I could be wrong but I think 2x B scaling is better. Also better for NG+ I believe!

Instead of ring of bones id recommend the ammo reduction ring itll make you take less health damage per shot. You can also run this same build with throwables Corrupted Javelin, Cursed Effigy, Banner Assault, Banner Projection, Lump Hammer. Switch rings to Throwable Damage and Throwable Ammo Reduction

Is this build still strong? I’ve heard the nerfed some of the bolts and the damage doesn’t hit the same anymore?

Wise choice for the Umbral Eye to be able to shoot bows/crossbows with no ammo for that particular crossbow that eats up ammo like nobody business otherwise I'd have gone with my fav Edict's Aim. Overall an interesting build for those who like itsy-bitsy weapons. Me, I'm a long and extra-long weapons sort of a guy.

There are some really odd balancing decisions in this game

Yes it'll still 'work' but will be quite sup-optimal. I actually never tried it with 1 so you would need to give it a shot!

Hey man, I ran this same build on NG with one dagger and it worked just fine. If you take advantage of weaknesses (fire for the holy dudes, holy for the fire dudes) I’m getting around 2400 damage with a charged shot, and about 1500 with a regular shot. That’s also using the bow of the mutilated as I only put enough points in str to meet weapon requirements

All my builds were made with the radiance focused starting class (I forget its name) but if you want to min max I believe it's the agility heavy starting class you will need. It becomes irrelevant as you get into higher levels of progression! It's such a fun build! Hope you enjoy it :)

@@PhaseShifter i thought the twisted bolts were nerfed? Didn't know they were still powerful. I run a Agility/Inferno build with Crossbow & Lightreaper daggers on NG+ and so far everything just melts. Nice content btw.

Just got killed by some guy who clearly watched this guide because he looked exactly like this, I think it's also a good pvp build in most cases. Especially against builds like mine, which was more tanky (heavy shield, long sword heavy armor caster/paladin).

Yeah, even after nerfs, it seems still viable in pvp too. Very rare to see though, mich other cheese going on (flickering flail and grinning axe stuff)

Is it still viable, i heard , lydias Eye was nerfed, it costs now too much life?

Yo! As of the date of this video it is still a stable choice. This is provided you work with the mechanic. You've got to make sure you land your shots or it can be VERY costly! It's very fun :)
