I couldn't have changed out my broken window regulator on my 2010 C300 without this extremely helpful video. Now on to the broken door lock actuator on the OTHER door :-/

great video not rushed and good pace

Great comprehensive video but with just 1 minor critique. The part near the end of the video where the inner panel (that holds the regulator) was being removed should have been a bit more detailed to show how the exterior door latch/handle (not a broken one) is removed. I am stuck with getting the inner panel completely out of the door frame but think another short video I found on latch removal may have solved problem. Was about to give up but will give it one more try tomorrow morning.

Great video I was able to do it my self and save about $1200 I also bought 1/4" rivet tool at harbor freight. Only difference was I couldn't figure out how to take off door handle/locking mechanism. I drilled out regulator rivets and loosened T15 screw for door handle through hole like they show in video I was able to get enough room to take out regulator and rivet new one in while inner panel was hanging (supported) by handle lock then reinstall everything opposite of taking it apart I also replaced the master switch because I had already bought it thinking that was my problem. regulator about $37 am-autoparts switch about $ 58 parts geek I also bought a door panel removal tool at harbor freight for less than $10 which made popping the plastic push pins very easy and picked up a few new plastic pins at auto zone (bought Nissan because they were the same size and didn't have Me/Be) $3.89 for a 4 pack

Video has helped me a lot up until the rivet gun bought the same size rivet gun and the rivet doesn’t fit so now I have to buy another one or use screws

What size rivets are those

Save time. Just remove the speaker and get old regulator and new regulator through the speaker hole. No need to remove rivets from panel, door handle, electric box.

My problem I can’t put the window up to disconnect the regulator cause the wire is broken Help please

Shows that he uses Stanley aluminum rivets. 1/4’’ (6mm) length x 3/16’’ (5mm) diameter. Hope this helps👍

A little late due to your comment showing 4 yrs old so I’m pretty sure you figured it out by now. But, shows that he uses Stanley aluminum rivets. 1/4’’ (6mm) length x 3/16’’ (5mm) diameter. Hope this helps👍
