Mercedes Sprinter W906 Engine oil replacement / Service (Oil & filter change) OM646 model year 2007 - 2012.
How to Check Engine oil via the gauge cluster:
• Mercedes Sprinter How ...
Tools Needed:
Toque wrench (20Nm minimum)
1/2 or 3/8 ratchet & extensions
13mm or 1/2inch socket
Pick tool or small screwdriver
84mm 14 Flute Oil Filter Wrench
Oil catch container (to hold at least 10-11 liters)
Parts Needed:
10L (min) Engine Oil (Check owners manual for viscosity)
Oil Filter & O-rings
Sump plug crush washer

Of course you forgot to mention the two o rings inside the paper filter. Thats why it jams when putting it back into the housing. Also, one should be aware that the plastic oil filter top should be counter torqued in the opposite direction when removing and when retorqueing the cap, otherwise youll get a oil leak which is a 3000 repair. People just dont realize it isnt so easy.

Hello, a question, my 2001 sprinter marks the oil in the middle and the last change was 12,000 km ago. Is this dangerous?

Hi, no its not dangerous depending on the kms/ miles on the engine it is not uncommon for the engine to burn / use a little oil between services. Is you see excessive smoke or smell burning oil then this would be cause for concern.
what wrench size you use i order 84 and 74 is not fit😢

Depends how much your able to remove when draining it. On average you need around 10 - 11 liters of engine oil.
