The best S65AMG I’ve ever seen! I’ve had the pleasure to see this car in person and the video don’t do it justice. We all know that Sam has OCD when it comes to his cars 😂 but they do get looked after to the highest level possible 😁

Thank you! 🙏🏻 I was going to do a full facelift conversion on this car but because the S65 is a rare car I decided to leave it original and buy a facelift S class also. You can see on my channel my facelift Designo S63AMG and it’s the Performance Pack with the V8 BiTurbo engine. 😊✋🏻

@@Sam_AMG I`ve seen it but still I don`t think it would affect the value of the car in any way , the facelift just looks much better . Again , congrats on the cars , I truly think this is the best S class ever build .

I do prefer the facelift headlamps also but to get the night vision working and corner lights from the research that I’ve done, it seems like it’s quite a bit of a headache to get the facelift lights to work. Unfortunately I haven’t found any companies that do plug and play facelift headlamps for the right hand drive cars.

Please don't abandon the channel! Those cars that you show are in museum condition, there are very few of these on KZread, my automotive soul is very happy when I see such masterpieces, especially the blue M3 E46, the time will come, and in the future I will realize my dream and buy myself one same car😁💪 And personally, I would like to wish you more luck and prosperity, great respect to you that you treat cars so chicly, I’m such a fierce perfectionist, and I’m very happy that such people exist in our time!))🙌✊🤝🙂💙

You won’t regret getting an S65AMG! It is very easy to get 700+bhp out of this cars. Just a remap will do that. I haven’t tuned mine as I personally find it fast enough but then again, you can never have enough power 😄. Maybe one day I’ll get mine remapped too

What size of tires do You use sir? How did You lower ABC suspension? Such a great car, one of the best S-Klasse I've ever seen!

Thank you! 🙏🏻 The tyre sizes are, front 245/35/21 and rears 285/30/21. To lower the car is very easy. You buy adjustable linkages and you adjust the new linkages to whatever height you want the car. They cost around £80. Put the new linkages on and it’s as easy as that. They also come with instructions on how you can adjust them.

Thank you! It’s had an ABC pump changed before I bought the car ( a few years ago i think it was changed ) It’s also had two new shock absorbers. I’ve recently done an ABC fluid flash including the ABC filter change. Even though it’s an old car now, it’s been maintained to a very high standard throughout its life. There’s a project thread on a Mercedes forum showing all the work that I’ve done to the car since I’ve had it.

Yes they are off an ML63AMG. I must say, they are so hard to find! It took me a year and a half to find this wheels. They don’t come up for sale often and for me they had to be the oem finish, grey on the inside with the diamond cut face. Just keep an eye on eBay or a Mercedes forum

@@Sam_AMG I have a 2007 S550 black on black needs minor restoration work. Does not have all the bells and whistles of the newer models but prefer the W221 body style compared to the latest model. What's great is that you can add anything you like from the newer models to update your interior.

I cannot understand the obsession with changing the manufactures choice of wheel and tyre size. The standard ones suit the car much better and ensure a far more comfortable ride as expected from a luxury saloon car.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Lorinser W221 in the uk. Cool cars but I’m not sure I like the looks of the Lorinser myself 😬

Thank you! 🙏🏻 It might seem like that but in the flesh I found the 20’s are just a bit too small for such a big car. 22’s on an S class W221 I think are definitely too big.
